Brooklyn native.  Asiyah is also a first generation Moroccan American, which has given her the invaluable personal experience of overcoming diversity and navigating the challenges American culture often throws at first generation Americans.  

Asiyah specializes in working with children and parents in navigating neurodivergence, intergenerational trauma, and multicultural experiences. Her patient and empathetic approach creates a safe space for families to navigate a multitude of challenges, and build on the strengths that come with neurodiversity and trauma.

She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Rutgers University and completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Working in various mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry in the Northern New Jersey area has afforded her the opportunity to encounter a multitude of demographic groups and therapy models.
