Dr. Stephanie Binter is licensed clinical psychologist. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and a certification in neuropsychology. Education and learning have always been of importance to Dr. Tachi. In May 2009, she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Prince George's Community College (PGCC) in Largo, Maryland.
While studying for her Masters in 2018, Dr. Tachi completed Aspen Day treatment LLC Psychiatric Mental Health Internship Outpatient under a psychiatrist's supervision, providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing psychiatric care to adults, children, and families with mental illness disorders.
In 2019, she received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Addison, Illinois.
From February through May 2019, she fulfilled a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Internship Outpatient under the supervision of Dr. Atlener-Artis-Trower, a Licensed Psychiatrist. She provided comprehensive assessments of all members within the family, applied the appropriate interventions as needed, and utilized literation to provide evidence-based care.
Later in 2019, she achieved her Master's in Nursing Science, PMHNP-BC, at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Tachi is Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified and licensed as a Registered Nurse both in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is licensed to prescribe in Maryland with MAT waiver.
She provides care for patients with mental health challenges, precisely medication management. With the help of therapy and medication management, Dr. Tachi helps individuals struggling with mental health problems overcome their fear and take back control of their lives.
