As an emergency room nurse for over 10 years, I knew that I wanted to help to reduce the stigma and improve mental health care. To do this, I obtained my MSN from Monmouth University, and became board certified with the ANCC. I have experience working at a non-profit IOP program for dual diagnosis clients, as well as a busy emergency room with a heavy psychiatric presence. I look forward to helping increase the availability of quality mental health care to my clients.
“Dr Kim is a superb physician, who is thoughtful and considerate not only when interacting with patients, but also in terms of treatment plans. She is highly conscientious and follows up on things immediately, something quite rare amongst her colleagues. I would highly recommend her.”

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my MSN from Monmouth University, and became board certified with the ANCC. I have over 10 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field in emergency crisis with adult clients from ages 18-65. Through my years as a staff nurse, I found my passion for mental health and desired to be apart of the change in ending the stigma surrounded by substance abuse and mental health.
I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, inter-professional collaboration and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment.
“Nichole has been great to work with so far. She is experienced, knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful in navigating whatever issues come up. I feel that I'm in good hands.”
I am a child and Adolescent psychiatrist trained at Rutgers New Jersey Medical school and Board certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I have been in practice for over 10 years and specialize in medication treatments for ADHD, Oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Autism spectrum disorder and tic disorders.
I pursue a working alliance with families, schools, therapists, and pediatricians, including the review of prior assessments, as the basis of the treatment plan.
My approach is to start with a thorough diagnosis and formulate a plan that includes medications, psychotherapy, diet, exercise, sleep hygiene, lab work and other lifestyle modifications to provide an individual treatment plan for each of my patients. As I develop a relationship with my patients and their family I strive to understand their issues and concerns to better cater to my patient's needs.
