Dan Egenlauf, PMHNP, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Clarity Psychiatry Care in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He has a deep passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journey.
Dan has been a registered nurse since 2013, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Family University. He spent the majority of his nursing career in critical care, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical decision-making and patient-centered care.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Dan also worked as a pre-hospital registered nurse and spent several years as a travel nurse in hospitals across California. Those experiences gave him the opportunity to care for diverse populations and sharpen his ability to adapt quickly and think holistically in high-pressure environments.
Dan’s background in emergency and critical care led him to develop a strong interest in mental health, where he now specializes in medication management for a range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders. As a former first responder and critical care nurse, Dan has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in high-stress roles. Danielle Walters, APN, PMHNP-BC, is an advanced practice nurse specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She sees patients at Clarity Psychiatry Care in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Jersey, where she initially developed a passion for mental health after completing clinical training on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit and at a community mental health center.
Danielle has over 10 years of experience as a critical care nurse at a level one trauma center specializing in neurological and trauma intensive care. She obtained advanced certifications in critical care and trauma care, developing expertise in the treatment of medically complex and acutely ill patients.
Danielle completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed clinical training at a child/adolescent partial hospitalization program, on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and at an outpatient mental health clinic. Danielle became an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in August of 2022. She furthered her education by completing a post graduate APN nurse residency program.
Danielle’s experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner includes conducting emergency/crisis psychiatric evaluations for patients of all ages who are at local emergency departments. She has also worked as a psychiatric consult liaison, providing psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan who are hospitalized with various medical conditions, including patients hospitalized for perinatal care. She has experience in treating patients with mood disorders, psychosis, trauma, and substance abuse.
