Alizah completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Connecticut in 2008 and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry from Ohio University in 2023.

I emphasize education so you feel empowered and understand why medication may be necessary, what the medication is, and why you are taking it. While medications are an important part of treatment, they are often times not the long-term solution. We can carefully weigh the potential benefits and risks to find the best option for you.

Dr. McNeill PhD, is a dedicated nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in family medicine and psychiatry, with expertise in managing conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as an associate professor in the Department of Health, Human Services, and Science at the University of Arizona Global Campus.
Dr. McNeill holds a Ph.D. in Human Services with a specialization in Healthcare Administration from Capella University. She earned her MSN from the University of South Alabama with a focus on family practice, an MBA and a BsIT from AIU, and a BSN from Emory University. This diverse educational background equips her with a comprehensive skill set to navigate the complexities of healthcare.

Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. She also has more than a decade of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a Level 1 Trauma Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Kelly has worked with an extremely diverse adult population as a staff nurse. She values the practice of medicine and nursing, however, she also strongly believes in holistic, complimentary, and alternative therapies as treatment options for patients and is passionate about the palliative effects of marijuana when used for medicinal purposes.
