Cynthia Banwell is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the Physician Assistant program at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX in February of 2023. Prior to completing her master’s degree in physician assistant studies, Cynthia graduated from University of Houston with an undergraduate degree in Health Promotion. Cynthia is excited to be back in Houston and working in psychiatry. Joshua Rotenberg, MD, is a board-certified pediatric neurologist with unique triple subspecialty certification in epilepsy, brain injury and sleep medicine. He provides high-quality, individualized care for infants, children, and adolescents at Houston Specialty Clinic locations in Houston and Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Rotenberg earned his undergraduate, graduate, and medical degrees at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Rotenberg received the USAF Health Professions Scholarship and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF in 1991. He stayed at Brown to complete dual degrees: Doctor of Medicine and Master of Medical Science - Community Health. Then, Dr. Rotenberg finished an internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital an affiliate of New York University. Called to active duty, he served in the United States Air Force for 10 years. Assigned to a aerospace research he served an operational assignment before returning to training. Dr. Matsuki is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in both medication management and psychotherapy to treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Prior to pursuing a career in psychiatry and psychotherapy in the U.S., Dr. Matsuki also had formal training and extensive clinical experience in primary care medicine in Japan.
