Dr. Kwentus holds nine additional board certifications in neurology, geriatric psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, neurophysiology, forensic psychiatry, pain management, psychosomatic medicine, addiction medicine, clinical psychopharmacology, and sleep medicine.
Dr. Kwentus has held many academic positions, such as professor and clinical professor of psychiatry in the Division of Psychopharmacology and the Clinical Trials Department at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He has also taught at Vanderbilt University as an assistant professor of psychiatry in Nashville, Tennessee.
He is also the founder, president, and principal investigator of Precise Research Centers, Mississippi’s premier clinical trial site. Dr. Kwentus and his staff have successfully worked with numerous pharmaceutical sponsors in psychiatry, neurology, and sleep.

As a dual board-certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric and medical disorders across the lifespan with acute and chronic disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Post Master of Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Southeast Louisiana University. She brings a passion for providing holistic wellness through evidence-based integrative care, believing the focus should be individualized, patient-centered, and personalized to the client's needs through actively involving the patient in the treatment plan.

I am a graduate of Tulane Medical School where I completed a psychiatric residency and a Child and Adolescent Fellowship. Several years of teaching children have inspired me to focus on children’s mental health. I am a native of New Orleans.
