After medical school, Dr. Oyebanjo-Popoola completed four years of residency training at the University of Missouri Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. While there, she was the Chief Resident. Upon completion of her residency, she pursued further training in the field of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Oyebanjo-Popoola is privileged to be a member of the inaugural set worldwide to be awarded a diplomate by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM). She completed further training in Global Mental Health, focusing on trauma in women and children, from Harvard School of Medicine.
Dr. Oyebanjo-Popoola enjoys working with all age groups, including children with autism, and ADHD, adolescents and young adults with various life struggles, middle age people with depression, schizophrenia, trauma or bipolar, elderly with depression or cognitive problems, or even alcoholism and prescription medication abuse.
