Dr. Trevor D. Barton, DO is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in vascular neurology. Dr. Barton earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University's Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his time there, he was selected for the prestigious Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) Fellowship, where he gained additional clinical and academic training in osteopathic manipulative medicine and holistic patient care.

Following medical school, Dr. Barton completed his neurology residency at HCA HealthONE Swedish Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the same institution, focusing on acute stroke care, stroke prevention, and advanced neuroimaging.

He brings an uncommon combination of clinical depth and advanced procedural training, having completed a fellowship in vascular neurology in the United States at Wayne State University and a clinical fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland.

His areas of focus include cerebrovascular disease and stroke, neuromuscular disorders, and seizure disorders. He performs and interprets EMG/nerve conduction studies and EEG and has extensive experience caring for patients in both hospital and outpatient settings—leading stroke teams and managing complex cases within certified stroke centers and neurocritical care units.

Dr. Hamzehloo is also an active clinical researcher. His work on stroke imaging and cerebral edema has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Stroke and Neurocritical Care and presented at national meetings such as the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting. Dr. Pawar is double board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology with an interest in hyperacute management of stroke and establishing systems of care. He received his medical degree at B.J. Medical College in India before going on to Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio to complete an Internal Medicine residency followed by neurology residencies at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Following completion of his residencies, Dr. Pawar completed Fellowships in Vascular Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, Endovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, and Advanced Vascular Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is coming to us from Duke University Medical Center where he served as Stroke Medical Director. He is widely published. He has varied interests and has participated in multiple clinical trials.

Dr. Delvena Thomas is a board-certified psychiatrist providing mental health support for patients served by FSCDR. She specializes in helping individuals manage emotional wellness, stress, and the mental health challenges that can accompany chronic medical conditions such as sickle cell disease.

Thinking about my experience with children in Argentina where I went to medical school while working for a church as a tutor for poor children. In USA as I re-validated the Medical Doctor degree working as a Physician Assistant for two pediatricians, and having four children of my own, concluded "I probably didn't give them much but I gave them my best to help them through parts of this journey called life", and "I received a lot in return that made me today almost as resilient as they were". Fast forward, looking back into more recent years and working mostly with adult patients now, I feel the same. My patients are not clients with better or worse insurance, but people like me, going through this journey called life where my mission is to help them go through forks, bumps, and traps as I do with God's help
