She has spent the majority of her career in the Emergency Department where she started out as a RN over 15 years ago. She then decided to further her education and got her Master’s in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her career as a nurse practitioner started out in quick care clinics, primary care, and urgent care. She then ventured into the substance abuse rehabilitation industry and has gained experiences in areas such as minor care complaints, family medicine, primary care, and substance abuse treatment with MAT. Driven by a true passion for helping others, she takes pride in providing the best medical care services possible. Dr. Darling currently holds admission privileges at both St. Mary's Medical Center and Delray Medical Center. Dr. Darling performs ECT at Delray Medical Center. Dr. Darling earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. She then completed General Psychiatry residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her formal training at Yale School of Medicine with a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine (the treatment of mental illness in the medically ill).
