My professional nursing career spans over 18 years with a focus on psychiatry, addiction medicine, medical-surgical nursing and oncology. ​In 2003 I completed my Associates of Science in Nursing at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fl. She received accolades while she was a doctoral student at the University of Miami (UM) when she was one of the few chosen for the Vitas Fellow Scholarship Award as well as the Aryn Rothfield Memorial Scholarship Award.
