Bobbi Bridges, AGACNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is the owner of Puentes Medical Consultants, where she provides exceptional mental health care services to adults in San Antonio, Texas, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Before opening her private practice, Bobbi gained valuable experience in many health settings. She treated patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) at an outpatient psychiatric clinic. She also worked as an adult geriatric acute care nurse, an administrative nursing supervisor, and a critical care RN in intensive care.
Bobbi maintains active membership in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Nurse Practitioners. She performed sepsis identification and management research and presented her research to peers. She has also earned numerous certifications, such as advanced cardiovascular life support.
When she’s not helping patients, Bobbi stays active in community service and loves gardening, cycling, and financial research.

Carter Richards, MD, is an experienced neurologist with a calling to work with children. Through his practice at Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center, Dr. Richards is able to create meaningful change in the lives of families from in and around the Alamo Heights, Shavano Park, and Lockhill-Selma areas of San Antonio, Texas.
Education has always been a central part of Dr. Richards’ life. He first became interested in medicine while working as a dialysis patient care technician. He pursued his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri and remained there to finish his residency.
Dr. Richards is also board certified in neurology and holds special qualifications in pediatric neurology. While completing his training, Dr. Richards enjoyed sharing his knowledge through various instructor roles. He has also lectured trainees on numerous pediatric neurology topics.

Ashwin Gowda, MD is board certified in sleep medicine. He has been providing care to those in South Austin since 2002 and is currently the Medical Director of Texas Sleep Medicine. His medical practice offers consultations, sleep studies (in the lab and at home studies) and all ongoing care to ensure the best possible outcome. Common sleep disorders diagnosed and treated include snoring/obstructive sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, parasomnias and circadian rhythm disorders.
