Ken Baris is a board certified Physician Assistant and lifelong Rhode Island resident. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biological Studies as well as an English minor. After spending several years working as an EMT and medical scribe, he was accepted into the Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at Bryant University. He graduated from the program with honors while also being inducted into the Pi Alpha honor society.
Prior to joining the team at South County Psychiatry, he spent time working at Landmark Medical Center, The Miriam Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital. He remains involved with the Bryant University PA Program as an adjunct faculty member, instructing didactic and clinical year PA students.
Ken has joined South County Psychiatry to provide exceptional mental health care in Rhode Island. In his free time, he can be found hiking, camping, and going to the beach with his family.

Dr. Gallo is a native of Rhode Island. He is an alumnus of Providence College where he completed the honors program in preparation for his graduate studies in medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency there, he worked in community hospitals in Massachusetts before returning to Rhode Island. In 2006, he joined the psychiatric staff of Rhode Island Hospital / Lifespan where he worked for eleven years. During that time he worked in various services all throughout the department of Psychiatry, as well as promoting numerous quality initiatives within the hospital. Dr. Gallo founded South County Psychiatry to meet the need for quality mental health care in the southern part of Rhode Island, an area he loves to call home. He relaxes with cooking, jazz, clay shooting, and spending time on the water with his wife, boys and dog.
