Kelly Tobin is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who underwent extensive training working with patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across multiple practice settings. Apart from his clinical experience, William had done research work on ADHD, psycho-somatic disorders and eating disorders. He has led several research teams at the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS), while at Fielding University. William is adept at helping clients dealing with several kinds of mental health challenges, including mood, behavioral, and personality issues, as well as substance abuse. William uses the following treatment modalities in this therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with other other Person-Centered approaches. He posits that one of the keys to successful therapy is building and maintaining the therapeutic relationship and alliance.
