Diana Mummert is a psychiatrist caring for patients in Denton, North Fort Worth, and Keller, Texas. Dr. Mummert moved to North Texas from Romania upon completion of medical school to conduct research at UT Southwestern. She then completed her Residency in Psychiatry at John Peter Smith (JPS) Hospital. Dr. Mummert worked as a general psychiatrist in community and inpatient settings.

Ingrid Suazo, DrHA, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She completed her master’s degree in nursing at West Coast University in California. For her post-graduate studies, Ingrid pursued a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She completed her doctorate in healthcare administration at the Virginia University of Lynchburg. Ingrid has extensive experience working with severe mental health conditions.
I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and the majority of my experience has been in emergency medicine. In the early 90s, I became an Emergency Medical Technician. I worked as a Paramedic for EMSA in OKC and as a flight medic with Air Evac. In 2001, I obtained my licensure as a Registered Nurse and worked in the emergency department setting for several years. In 2014, I endured a personal loss. My mother Diane suffered from depression, adult-onset alcoholism, and died by suicide. My career path changed after the death of my mother and I decided to pursue psychiatry to help others that are experiencing symptoms of mental illness. The mind is a beautiful component of our being, and it must be taken care of just like any other system within our bodies. Mental illness is no different than any other disease process and that is why I became a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Cohen is widely regarded as a leader in pain rehabilitation and has won several “Best Doctor in Pain Management” awards. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital. In addition to treating patients, he is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, and he regularly publishes his research and studies in scholarly journals. Dr. Cohen is a Dallas resident who enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family when he is not working.
