She has 23 years of experience in a multitude of medical settings including more than 5 years of diverse experience as a nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Dr. Cohen is widely regarded as a leader in pain rehabilitation and has won several “Best Doctor in Pain Management” awards. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital. In addition to treating patients, he is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, and he regularly publishes his research and studies in scholarly journals. Dr. Cohen is a Dallas resident who enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family when he is not working.
