I came to be a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner via an unconventional path. Military service established a sense of service in me; following my service time, I felt a pull toward helping those with mental health struggles find a path toward a better tomorrow.

Dr. Apeatu obtained his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School in West Africa. He completed his pediatric residency training at New York Medical College, Lincoln Hospital Affiliation. He then completed his pediatric neurology fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital Long Island Campus for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Apeatu was also a fellow at Long Island Jewish Medical Center for epilepsy and electroencephalography. Dr. Ellen Edgar is the president of Complete Neurological Care, P.C. in New York and Florida. She is an American Board Certified Neurologist who holds double board certification from The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and The American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN).

She completed her Pediatrics residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY and Neurology training at State University of New York after which she enrolled into a highly competitive combined neurological fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology (NCS/EMG/EP/EEG) at Columbia University New York-Presbyterian Hospital, NYC, one of the best Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers in the country.
Dr. Ilic has co-authored research papers and medical reviews in the areas of Pediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, and Neurophysiology. She provides general and specialized care to children and adults with conditions related to the brain and nervous system.

Dr. Micic specializes in neurology and pediatric neurology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nis Faculty of Medicine, serving multiple locations across NY. Dr. Micic completed an internship at Clinical Center Nis in Serbia after obtaining her medical degree. Later, she also completed her fellowships in child neurology, one at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, one at the State University of New York, Stony Brook and another at the Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital. Fahimir Jean-Baptiste, PMHNP-BC, is an ANCC board certified Psychiatrist Mental Nurse Practitioner. Fahimir has her Master of science in Nursing from Hofstra University School and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College. Her clinical career took her on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings. She manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including Major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. Fahimir provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, including attention to each patient's personal history, his or her specific context, stressful or traumatic life experiences or circumstances, each patient's particular concerns about, or fears of medications, all of which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient's sense of comfort and trust.

Margaret Miller, DNP, LMSW is a psychiatrist and the founder of Greenwich Avenue Psychiatry, located in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Dr. Miller began her career in psychiatry at Weill Cornell in the emergency room, where she trained through Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic. Following years of providing psychotherapy and working at Montefiore Medical Center, Margaret returned to Columbia University for a Master’s in Nursing, followed by a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical focus on psychopharmacology. She has presented work on reducing stigma and improving mental health care delivery at several conferences and is the recipient of multiple scholarly awards.
Margaret firmly believes in the power of the patient-provider relationship when it comes to providing care. Approaching all aspects of mental health with curiosity and empathy, Margaret specializes in crafting tailored psychiatric treatment plans that incorporate patient-centered goals. She uses her background in social work to understand patients in the context of their lives.

Pascal Saremsky, MD, is a board-certified pediatric neurologist, pediatric epileptologist, and a valuable member of the team at NY Neurology Associates in New York City.
