Dr. Dharma has a “no stone left unturned” philosophy to medicine, which has earned her a strong following of patients. She also believes that prevention is the key to good health, which lead her to establish our on-site wellness center in 2014. Her dedication to medicine is represented by the multiple board positions she holds, including president of her local chapter to being on the board of the national Texas of Physicians- (TAFP). As an associate clinical faculty member at UT Southwestern, she has taught medical student for over 15 years. In her spare time, she enjoys cross-fit, Capoeira martial arts, and spending time with ther family.
Dr. Monica Ramirez is a Dallas native who has just completed her residency at UT Health San Antonio.She is excited to be back in Dallas and thrilled to be joining Southwest Family Medicine Associates.
Dr. Ramirez pursued Family Medicine as it allows her to form trusting and long-lasting relationships with patients and their family members. She is a strong believer of the “whole person” approach which is at the heart of family medicine and an advocate of education and preventive medicine.
