Michael Brady, DO, is a family medicine and primary care physician. He serves patients in Surprise and El Mirage, Arizona, at the HealthyU Clinics Surprise – Dysart Rd clinic. 

Dr. Brady started his medical career in the United States Navy, where he served as an independent duty diving medical technician. After retiring from the Navy, he worked as an orthopedic technician before attending medical school. 

Dr. Brady attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, followed by a family medicine residency at Abrazo Central Campus (formerly Phoenix Baptist Hospital) in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Dr. Brady began working for HealthyU Clinics in 2022. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and likes to incorporate osteopathic principles in the treatment of his patients, including manual manipulation when appropriate.

Barbara Garcia, MD, is a primary care physician. She serves patients at HealthyU Clinics at our Glendale, Arizona, clinic. 

Dr. Garcia attended medical school at The University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated in 1996. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to start a residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she completed two years of OB/GYN training. She then transferred to the Department of Family Medicine, graduating in 2000. 

Dr. Garcia was in private practice in the Maryvale community of Phoenix from 2000-2016, then joined Abrazo Medical Group from 2016-2022. Dr. Garcia began working at HealthyU Clinics in December 2022 when Abrazo-West Olive Family Medicine joined HealthyU Clinics. She is excited to continue caring for her long-term patients.

Dr. Garcia enjoys diabetes care, primary prevention, women’s health, and adolescent care. She also works part-time as a clinical faculty for the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, where she teaches student doctors how to interview patients, perform physical exams, and develop their clinical and critical thinking skills. 

She enjoys being the "contractor" for patients' healthcare needs and works with specialists (aka subcontractors) to manage total care. 

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Garcia often travels back to visit family and friends. She is married with three teenage sons and a furry little guy who all keep her busy and happy.

Nicholas Werth, PA-C, is a physician assistant. He serves patients in Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona, at the HealthyU Clinics Phoenix – 31st Ave. clinic and the Glendale – West Olive Ave. clinic.

Nicholas was born and raised in Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis as an undergraduate, receiving his bachelor’s degree in physiology in 2015. He then completed his physician assistant training at Touro University Nevada in Henderson in 2021. After graduating, Nicholas moved to Phoenix and joined HealthyU Clinics in early 2022. 

Nicholas enjoys taking the time to provide education to his patients. He believes in employing shared decision-making with patients to ensure compliance with the treatment plan and to maintain patient autonomy. He is also passionate about mental health and enjoys working closely with the behavioral health management staff to help meet the needs of his patients. 

When he’s not seeing patients, Nicholas can find him spending time with his girlfriend and their dog, playing golf, watching sports, working on his car, cooking, or trying new restaurants.

Michael J Willcox, MD, was born in Oregon and was raised nearby in Glendale, Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Kinesiology before completing his doctorate at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed a Transitional Year Internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and Family Medicine Residency at Martin Army Community Hospital on Fort Benning, Georgia. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He has been a practicing physician since 2018.

He served as an Army flight surgeon with the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade and deployed in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. He has extensive experience caring for service members, veterans, and their families in the field, outpatient clinics, ERs, hospital wards, and ICUs.

Dr. Willcox focused his medical practice on geriatrics because he enjoys patients' desire to develop a trusting relationship and greater continuity of care compared to other age groups. He enjoys working with patients to find treatments that best align with their personal goals and optimize their quality of life, particularly when care can be simplified or reduced to achieve better outcomes.

Dr. Willcox, his wife, and three active children love spending time with their numerous family members in the Valley of the Sun. They love the outdoors, water sports, running, and skiing.

Umesh Narayanan, M.D. is a native of Tampa, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida (Go Gators!). He completed his medical school at Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean. He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at the University of North Dakota in Minot, North Dakota. He then went on and completed a Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Arizona Geriatrics program here in Sun City, Arizona. He loved the area so much and has found permanent residence in Phoenix, Arizona. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine and is Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also an academic preceptor for the geriatric fellowship program through University of Arizona/Banner Health. He has fellows and residents rotate with him once a week.
He is married. His wife is a Physician Assistant in Dermatology in the area. In his spare time, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching and playing football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoys hiking. Traveling the world and trying various cuisines is his passion.

Seokhan Kyle Song D.O. is a board-certified family medicine physician who believes great care starts with listening. Dr. Song served for 12 years in the Virginia Army National Guard as a combat medic and field surgeon, caring for hundreds of soldiers in multiple deployments overseas. That experience taught him the importance of staying calm, focused, and compassionate—skills he brings to every visit today.

He was born and raised in New York. He earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and also holds a Master’s in Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is fluent in English and Korean and loves working with individuals and families from all backgrounds.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Song enjoys life at home with his wife, three kids, and two cats. His hobbies include golfing, hiking, building reef aquariums, assembling Lego sets (sometimes with his kids, sometimes not), playing board games, and watching movies.

Seth Goodman, DO is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon specializing in comprehensive skin care for patients of all ages at Goodman Dermatology and Mohs Surgery in Sun City, Arizona.    He is passionate about skin cancer prevention, early detection, and advanced treatment through Mohs surgery, as well as other modern and cutting edge modalities. He also provides expert care for a wide range of general dermatologic conditions.   Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Goodman believes in taking time with each individual to provide thorough, personalized care. Whether you're dealing with acne, eczema, rashes, or skin cancer concerns, he ensures every patient receives the focused attention they deserve.   Dr. Goodman earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University and completed medical school at Des Moines University. Karie Pietrykowski is a Family Nurse Practitioner currently practicing at Oasis Ear, Nose and Throat in Surprise, AZ.

Karie was born and raised in Montana where she studied dance and theater. She discovered her passion for serving others when she saw the amazing care provided to her mother during her battle with breast cancer. She worked as a nurse prior to graduating with her Masters in Science from The University of Cincinnati and has worked in healthcare for over a decade. She previously worked as a primary care provider and continues to be dedicated to complete patient-centered care.

She moved to Arizona with her two black labs to enjoy the sunshine. She continues to participate in dance and theater. She spends her free time taking dance classes, teaching yoga and watching Cubs baseball.

Dr. Farago is a family medicine trained, board certified physician. His experience includes general family medicine as well as addiction and non-interventional pain medicine. He has expertise using both buprenorphine and methadone for the treatment of chronic opioid dependency. He is licensed in the both the USA as well as Canada to practice medicine. In addition to his experience, Dr. Roehrs serves as the director of sleep medicine research at the Phoenix VA and spends much of his professional time practicing sleep medicine and teaching pulmonary fellows. Laura is a Registered Dietitian  in NYC with eight years of experience. She earned her Masters in Nutrition and Food Science with an emphasis on Nutrition Education from Montclair State University and then completed her dietetic internship with a specialty in worksite wellness as Wellness Workdays. She then worked at WIC, where she provided nutrition counseling and education to pregnant patients and young children. During her time at WIC she developed a passion for fertility, pregnancy, and early childhood nutrition. She was able to further develop that passion over the past five years as she has led the outpatient nutrition counseling program at CarePoint-Hoboken University Medical Center. During her time at CarePoint she has gained experience counseling on a variety of disease states and nutrition issues. In addition to the outpatient program, she was also a member of the clinical in-patient team. At CarePoint, she also had the role of community dietitian where she gave nutrition presentations and cooking demonstrations at community events and universities.
