Mohamed Sheta, MD, FASN, FASDIN, is an award-winning nephrologist at Houston Kidney Specialists Center (HKSC), which has multiple locations in Houston and Cypress, Texas.He strives to reach more of the community as one of the few nephrologists nationwide specializing in minimally invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Sheta can perform percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion, percutaneous arteriovenous fistula creation, and many other minimally invasive dialysis access surgeries.
Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Sheta received his medical degree from the University of Cairo, Egypt, and moved to the United States in 2009 for his nephrology fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
