After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Francis graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in Austin, Texas. Brianna Kay, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in New Braunfels and Gonzales and San Antonio.

She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2012. After graduation, Brianna sub-specialized in medical and surgical dermatology and completed a 10-month internship with a board-certified dermatologist in New Braunfels, TX.

Zoe Apted, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. Joining the Heights Dermatology team in 2019, Zoe brings incredible expertise. 

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. In 2014, she completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. After finishing her MPH, she obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2016. Zoe received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List.

Before completing her graduate studies, Zoe worked in clinical research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Additionally, she spent six months volunteering as a medical assistant at a rural hospital in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. During this time, she discovered a passion for clinical care, which compelled her to pursue a career in medicine. She previously practiced in obstetrics and gynecology before moving into dermatology, a field of special interest to her. Zoe is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Association of Physician Assistants, and Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association.

In her free time, Zoe enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She lives in the greater Heights area and is excited to serve her community.
