Born and raised in Wales, United Kingdom, Dr. O’Heron emigrated to Canada to pursue higher education. After completing her undergraduate degree in dance and visual arts, she earned a degree in education. She went on to work with autistic children in the field of special education and helped create a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program for parents of autistic preschoolers.
Feeling drawn toward medicine, Dr. O’Heron proceeded to earn her medical degree at McMaster University in Ontario, where she specialized in maternal and child health. She went on to complete a fellowship in high-risk surgical obstetrics.
Dr. O’Heron practiced OB/GYN and pediatrics while teaching at McMaster University until the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston recruited her to teach primary care obstetrics. While in Texas, she worked in an underserved area and specialized in evaluating cases of child abuse. Then, she moved to Peachtree City, Georgia to teach full time at Emory University.
In 1999, Dr. O’Heron opened Lifeboat Medical Associates, where she proudly continues to serve her community as a skilled OB/GYN and pediatrician. She still maintains an affiliation with Emory University, Mercer University, and Medical College of Georgia, where she teaches aspiring medical professionals. Dr. O’Heron also continues to work with social services, child placement agencies, and children with autism or developmental issues.
Dr. O’Heron is an expert in the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and BRCA genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancer.

As an Atlanta native, Dr. Lilibird Pichardo has provided caring and compassionate health care to women of all ages and ethnicities in the metro Atlanta area for several years. She is particularly adept at serving the Hispanic/Latino community and is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Pichardo completed her undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta. She later attended medical school at the Morehouse School of Medicine, also in Atlanta. Although a native to West Virginia, Matthew Ralsten, MD, is no stranger to the Atlanta metropolitan area. He first completed his undergraduate education at the Georgia Institute of Technology before returning to his home state for medical school at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington.
Dr. Ralsten went on to complete his internship at West Virginia University, where he was recognized as an outstanding teaching resident. He finished his full residency at the Mountain Area Health Education Center, a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill community program.

Dr. Burke-Bray first developed a passion for service, education, and advocating for women while matriculating through Spelman College. She further honed her interest in building community education programs and public health, achieving a Master of Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dr. Burke-Bray then spent several years building school based, community engagement strategies to promote healthy, active, and safe transportation options for families through the Safe Routes to School Program. Dr. Burke-Bray then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center-Mercer (MHUMC) in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia in 2021. While at MHUMC, Dr. Burke-Bray earned her place as a scholar in the Resident to Faculty Leadership Development Program. She was also awarded the Excellence in Resident Research award for research projects focusing on raising HPV vaccination rates in the resident clinic and improving resident education around gynecologic surgery and clinical practice. While completing her final year of residency, Dr. Burke-Bray achieved the highest honor, becoming a mother to identical triplet girls.

Jayasri Bukkapatnam, MD, is an OB/GYN serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in April 2015.
Dr. Bukkapatnam is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Science in biology. Anne Beesley, MD, is an OB/GYN in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in August 2019.
Dr. Beesley was raised in Peachtree City, Georgia. Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH, FACOG is a board-certified physician serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the Georgia community. Denise Umpierrez-Morley, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN who joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in 2019. She is dedicated to providing women’s health care services to patients in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jacqui Fisch, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been with the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates since 1998.
Dr. Fisch obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cape Town Medical School in South Africa. OB/GYN Mimi Vanoyan, MD, FACOG, provides a wide range of women’s health services at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates’ two locations in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Vanoyan completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. She received her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she also served as chief resident. As chief resident, she was named outstanding resident in laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Vanoyan joined Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in April 2002. She is proficient in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a special interest in adolescent gynecology, contraception, and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Little was born and raised near Boulder, Colorado. She completed her undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in anthropology and biomedical sciences.
After receiving her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center, affiliated with Mercer University, in Savannah, Georgia. During her residency, she served as the Administrative Chief Resident for the hospital and received recognition from the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for her work in obstetrics.
During her training, Dr. Little became involved in Junior Fellow leadership for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, holding the title of Georgia Section Vice-Chair. She has been involved in lobbying for maternal health at the state and national levels. She has authored publications on topics involving enhanced recovery at the time of cesarean sections and placental pathology related to preeclampsia.
Dr. Little has a broad interest in general OB/GYN and is especially passionate about fostering long-term relationships with her patients.
She resides in Buckhead with her fiancé and English cocker spaniel puppy. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cycling, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
