In his role as a PA at Garden State Pain & Orthopedics, is important but when he’s not caring for patients, Jensen remains an avid sportsman. “I enjoy playing basketball with my friends and working out, and I’m also getting married this fall, so I spend a lot of time with my fiancée,” he said.
Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Stuart Styles, MD, FAAOS, has been with the team at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group since 1997. He currently treats patients at the practice locations in Fishkill, Mount Kisco, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York.
Dr. Styles is a graduate of Hofstra University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he earned his medical degree in 1991. He served as chief resident of orthopaedic surgery at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was also an orthopaedic research fellow.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and Westchester County Medical Society. Until recently, Dr. Styles was a committee member of the Putnam Hospital Health Information Management Committee, was the Co-Director of Joint Replacement Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital, and sat on the Board of Trustees at Trinity-Pawling School. He was awarded top doctor from NY Top Docs, a division of USA Top Docs, in 2024.
Dr. Styles is a co-author of several articles and textbooks involving orthopaedic subjects and attends sporting events as an orthopaedic team doctor. He has been a featured guest on “Talk Back Live” WOR Radio, New York 710 AM.
He is on the faculty at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also on staff at Putnam Hospital Center and Northern Westchester Hospital.

Scott Levin, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. Dr. Levin graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Temple University and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Stony Brook University in New York, where he was selected as the Administrative Chief Resident during his final year. He went on to complete his sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where he developed expertise in evaluating sports-related injuries and the skills to treat them with a minimally invasive technique.
During his time at Lenox Hill, he also had the opportunity to work with many professional and collegiate athletes, serving as an assistant team physician for the New York Jets and the New York Islanders, in addition to Hofstra University and Hunter College. Dr. Levin continues to serve as the team physician for local high school teams, including Horace Greeley High School and Somers High School, and is the assistant team physician for Pace University. He is the co-author of several research articles, including book chapters on various orthopaedic procedures.
Dr. Levin cares for both high-level competitive athletes and weekend warriors and takes a team approach with his patients to get them back in the game. He has extensive experience in both non-operative and operative treatment of injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee with a focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment. He is one of only a few providers in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley with a specialized clinical interest in arthroscopic treatment of the hip, using advanced arthroscopic techniques to treat various hip disorders, such as labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement. In addition, he performs office-based ultrasound-guided injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy.

Daniel Howard, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine. He provides individualized, compassionate care to patients at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group in Mount Kisco, Fishkill, and Carmel, New York, and Danbury, Connecticut.
Dr. Howard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the cross country and track and field teams. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident during his final year. He then went on to the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles to complete his sports medicine fellowship, where he was part of the medical staff of the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Sparks, and many junior colleges and high schools.
He has written numerous peer-reviewed publications and performed research involving NFL, MLB, MLS, and NWSL athletes. His research interests and projects include injury prevention in youth and adolescent pitchers and athletes, safe return to sport after injury, improving and measuring patient outcomes, and improving surgical techniques.

Dr. Howard treats a wide variety of orthopaedic and sports-related issues of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and hip. He has particular clinical interests in knee injuries of the ligaments, meniscus, and cartilage; shoulder injuries of the rotator cuff, labrum, and instability; working with overhead and throwing athletes; and working with runners.
Dr. Howard offers his patients specialized treatment with minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery, as well as state-of-the-art technology including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatment. He currently serves as the Team Physician for Mahopac High School and Assistant Team Physician for Pace University.
