Dr. Styles is a graduate of Hofstra University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he earned his medical degree in 1991. He served as chief resident of orthopaedic surgery at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was also an orthopaedic research fellow.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and Westchester County Medical Society. Until recently, Dr. Styles was a committee member of the Putnam Hospital Health Information Management Committee, was the Co-Director of Joint Replacement Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital, and sat on the Board of Trustees at Trinity-Pawling School. Dr. Styles is a co-author of several articles and textbooks involving orthopaedic subjects and attends sporting events as an orthopaedic team doctor. He has been a featured guest on “Talk Back Live” WOR Radio, New York 710 AM.
He is on the faculty at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also on staff at Putnam Hospital Center and Northern Westchester Hospital.
Scott Levin, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. He is proud to provide care to patients at the practice’s locations in Mount Kisco, Fishkill, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York, and Danbury, Connecticut.
Dr. Levin graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Temple University and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Stony Brook University in New York, where he was selected as the Administrative Chief Resident during his final year. He went on to complete his sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where he developed expertise in evaluating sports-related injuries and the skills to treat them with a minimally invasive technique.
During his time at Lenox Hill, he also had the opportunity to work with many professional and collegiate athletes, serving as an assistant team physician for the New York Jets and the New York Islanders, in addition to Hofstra University and Hunter College. Dr. Levin continues to serve as the team physician for local high school teams, including Horace Greeley High School and Somers High School, and is the assistant team physician for Pace University. He is the co-author of several research articles, including book chapters on various orthopaedic procedures.
Dr. Levin cares for both high-level competitive athletes and weekend warriors and takes a team approach with his patients to get them back in the game. He has extensive experience in both non-operative and operative treatment of injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee with a focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment. He is one of only a few providers in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley with a specialized clinical interest in arthroscopic treatment of the hip, using advanced arthroscopic techniques to treat various hip disorders, such as labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement. In addition, he performs office-based ultrasound-guided injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy.
Dr. Levin has been consistently selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and has been featured in the Hudson Valley Magazine Top Doctors issue every year since 2017. He is recognized as a NY Top Doctor for 2024–2025 by NY Top Docs (USA Top Docs Division).
Andrew Peretz, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery. Dr. Peretz joined Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group, PLLC, in 1997, and he treats spinal disorders in both adults and pediatric patients at the practice’s locations in Fishkill, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York.
Dr. Peretz received his degree in chemistry from Princeton University and earned his medical degree from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Peretz then completed his fellowship in spinal surgery at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
He is currently a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Peretz is a member of the Medical Society of New York State, the Medical Society of Westchester County, and the American Medical Association. He has co-authored several publications and research articles involving the spine. He is recognized as a NY Top Doctor for 2024–2025 by NY Top Docs (USA Top Docs Division).
