She has gotten additional training in trauma-informed care and ADHD. She has successfully run ADHD clinics for almost 15 years. She is also a member of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder). In her "free time," she enjoys gardening, dancing, music, and creating art. Sarah Spencer is a holistic trauma informed occupational therapist with a passion for neuroscience and the healing arts with over 25 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience. She utilizes the bottom-up approach to engage, integrate, and rewire the nervous system as related to emotional and movement actions and reactions. She specializes in sensory integration and movement disorders as related to low tone and motor planning. She is a co-owner of a successful pediatric therapy company in upstate NY and has been successfully treating children in the USVI since 2021.
Sarah is a mother to three children. She finds passion, love, and a sense calm in the depths of this crazy journey that she calls life. She uses an eclectic approach to healing that incorporating her own journey as a parent of a neurodivergent child coupled with the knowledge she has gained over the past 24 years from clinical practice and education.
