Sydney graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to completing her Master’s, she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with university and departmental honors from Wayne State University.

Her passion for working with children took root during her college years while volunteering in the NICU/PICU at Children's Hospital of Michigan. These experiences, where she offered comfort and care to hospitalized children, solidified her commitment to pediatric healthcare and inspired her to pursue a career in this field as a PA.

Ana Stoica, MD, is a pediatrician at Millennium Pediatrics in Naperville, Illinois. She has a special interest in caring for newborn babies, genetic disorders, asthma, and adolescent mental health. Dr. Stoica is committed to caring for the comprehensive development needs of children, which encompasses their behavior, home life, nutritional needs, sleep, and milestone development.

 

Dr. Stoica was born, raised, and educated in Romania. She earned her medical degree from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine in Iasi, Romania’s oldest and most respected medical school. She then traveled to the United States to complete her pediatric residency at Michigan State University Hurley Children’s Medical Center.

 

Before joining the expert and compassionate team at Millennium Pediatrics in October 2022, Dr. Stoica practiced as a pediatrician in upstate New York for nearly 14 years.

 

When she’s not at work, Dr. Stoica enjoys playing with her children, attending museums and concerts, traveling, and spending time with friends. She lives with her husband, also a physician, and their two young boys in Hinsdale.

Sima Stein, MD, is a well-known and much-respected pediatrician who leads the team at Stein Pediatrics in San Jose, California. She provides high-quality, personalized medical care to infants, children, teenagers, and young adults.

Kathleen Mansour, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Millennium Pediatrics in Naperville, Illinois. Dr. Mansour prides herself on actively listening to the concerns of her patients and their families regarding development milestones, behavior, sleep, and other factors affecting childhood to come up with a healthy treatment plan.

 

Dr. Mansour graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. To further her knowledge and expertise, Dr. Mansour is board-certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

 

Before joining the knowledgeable team at Millennium Pediatrics, Dr. Mansour served as a senior physician at The Permanente Medical Group in Sacramento, California. She then relocated to Jackson, Mississippi, to serve as an Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in the Department of Pediatrics and Newborn Medicine. In 2008, Dr. Mansour moved to Chicago with her husband and their three children and joined Millennium Pediatrics.

Dr. Derica N. Sams is a board-certified pediatrician with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. She completed her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University and pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her MD degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, and she is a graduate of Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Educational Studies. Her clinical interests include functional GI disorders, weight management, and integrative pediatrics.

Rahul Bhatia, MD, MPH, FAAP,  is a board-certified physician in both pediatrics and pediatric critical care. He has been in practice for over 20 years and is proud to serve children and their families at Caring Pediatrics in Tempe, Arizona. 

Dr. Bhatia completed his residency at the University of Tennessee, followed by a fellowship in pediatric critical care from Thomas Jefferson University. He then obtained a master's degree in public health from the University of Arizona. 

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and Society for Pediatric Sedation. Dr. Bhatia is also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance. He also has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and presented at national and international scientific societies.

Dr. Bhatia is affiliated with some of the best hospitals in the Valley, including Banner Health and HonorHealth . He continues to work in pediatric emergency departments and pediatric intensive care units in the Valley.

Sarah Jane is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in the Midwest and attended the University of Kentucky, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, Sarah Jane started her nursing career at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) helping take care of kids with some of the most severe illnesses and injuries. After six years as a PICU nurse, Sarah Jane obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from MUSC, where she gained advanced training in providing expanded services in diagnosing and treating various pediatric medical conditions. Upon graduation, Sarah Jane worked for over eight years in academic asthma and pulmonary disease specialty clinics as well as pediatric primary care clinic before starting Island Pediatrics. Sarah Jane enjoys spending time with her husband, two girls, their Goldendoodle puppy, playing sand volleyball, and trying out new restaurants around town.

Nathan Giles, DO, FAAP is a pediatrician caring for children in the Las Vegas community. Dr. Giles graduated with his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. After graduating medical school he completed a pediatric residency program at the University of New Mexico Hospital. After completing his residency, Dr. Giles moved to Las Vegas to begin work at Nevada Pediatric Specialists. He is excited and proud to be working with the families of Las Vegas. He strives to provide high-quality care to infants, children and adolescents through all their stages of growth and development. Audrey M. Merrill, MD, is a dedicated and accomplished medical professional with a passion for pediatric medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, Florida from 2021 to 2024. Audrey holds a Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with minors in Art and Latin from Utah State University.

Throughout her academic journey at AdventHealth for Children between 2021-2023, Audrey has made significant contributions through research projects on topics like pediatric transgender health and rheumatic fever. Her dedication to patient safety has led her to present on advocating for improved hospital settings as well.

Audrey is an accomplished violinist with over 26 years of experience playing with school orchestras as well as local ensembles. Her artistic talents are evident through drawing and painting artwork which she occasionally sells alongside sculpting marble pieces.

Nadeem Hashmi, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. He sees and treats patients at EC Primary Care Physicians, PA, located in Columbia, Maryland. His mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to mothers, infants, and children living in and around Howard County.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine in India, Dr. Hashmi completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He has accumulated over 32 years of pediatrics and neonatology experience, caring for sick and premature newborns.

Dr. Hashmi is affiliated with Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland, and several other local hospitals. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, which helps him stay up to date with the latest advances in his field.

Rebecca Raoof, FNP-BC, is a Nurse Practitioner with specialized expertise in cosmetic and general dermatology. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 3 states: California, New York and New Jersey. Rebecca’s clinical expertise is focused on acne, acne scars, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, skin cancer screening, chemical peels, Botox, fillers, lasers, microneedling, PRP and performing excisions for cysts and skin cancer. Her calm demeanor and friendly approach make her easily approachable by her patients. With her deep passion for the Dermatology field, Rebecca enthusiastically strives to help each individual patient achieve the best cosmetic and medical treatment available and educates about skin cancer prevention.

Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied psychology.
