Dr. Keith L. Perkins Jr. specializes in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, transforming patients' lives in Selmer, Tennessee. He attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, which is well-known for training highly qualified primary care physicians. He also completed his dual internal medicine and pediatrics training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center- Memphis.

Claire Wilkiemeyer, MD, brings more than a decade of experience in pediatrics to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County. 

Dr. Wilkiemeyer grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and began her professional education in Virginia, where she earned her undergraduate degree. After obtaining her diploma, Dr. Wilkiemeyer moved to New Orleans and enrolled at the Tulane University School of Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Wilkiemeyer completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. 

Dr. Wilkiemeyer is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to diagnosing and treating common pediatric conditions, she specializes in parent education and helping her young patients make healthy choices. 

In her spare time, you can find Dr. Wilkiemeyer spending time with her family on the Beltline and in Piedmont Park. She also enjoys gardening, running, and supporting local sports teams. Kelly Smith, MD, specializes in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine, and is a co-founder of Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center in the Alamo Heights, Shavano Park, and Lockhill-Selma areas of San Antonio, Texas. He has achieved fellowship designation in four areas of medical practice to include sleep medicine, pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, and internal medicine. 

A New Braunfels native, Dr. Smith earned his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and remained in the state to complete his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He refined his skills and knowledge through an internship and residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, where he was also appointed chief resident of internal medicine and pediatrics. 

Fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston came next, followed by research and training in sleep medicine through the Texas Children’s Sleep Center in San Antonio.  

Dr. Smith went into private practice in 2007 and worked with his partners to open Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center in 2009. He enjoys working collaboratively to offer the highest possible level of care in pediatric pulmonology and adult/pediatric sleep medicine. 

When not working with patients, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Flyfishing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and soccer keep him outdoors and active, and he tries to take advantage of all that the San Antonio area has to offer.

Robert C. Platner, MD, brings more than 20 years of experience in pediatric medicine to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County. 

Dr. Platner was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began his professional pursuits at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his undergraduate degree. The following year, Dr. Platner enrolled at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in pediatrics at Emory University in Atlanta. 

Dr. Platner is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and allergies, as well as attention-deficit disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD). When he isn’t working with patients or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Platner serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Emory School of Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Platner enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing guitar. He also loves the great outdoors and regularly hikes and kayaks. Dr. Platner welcomes any family seeking comprehensive pediatric care to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics.

Arlene Harrington, MD, is a pediatrician practicing at Chesterfield Pediatrics in Midlothian, Virginia. Her mission is to provide exceptional care to her patients and their families. 

Dr. Harrington earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1992. She then completed her medical degree at St. George University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, in 1996. She served her residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, and has been in practice in Richmond since 1999. Her specialties include treating children with asthma and allergies, and behavioral issues. She also enjoys performing office procedures.

Dr. Harrington is a mother of four children, including a set of twins. In her spare time outside the office, she enjoys skiing, sailing, swimming, fishing, and traveling with her family.

Michael Marsh, MD, is a neurology specialist with a focus on pediatric neurology and related conditions. He is proud to be part of the Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center team, and of the opportunity to work with families from the Alamo Heights, Shavano Park, and Lockhill-Selma areas of San Antonio, Texas, and the greater region. 

Dr. Marsh earned a Masters degree in neuroscience at Syracuse University in New York. He went on to complete his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Marsh completed a residency in pediatric neurology at St. Louis University in Missouri, where he remained for fellowship training. 

Among Dr. Marsh’s areas of interest are seizure disorders and migraines. He takes great comfort in treating pediatric patients who are suffering from these complex neurological issues, and in helping them achieve an improved daily quality of life.  

Dr. Marsh recognizes the role that parents and other family members play in assisting and supporting kids with neurological issues. He takes the time to educate loved ones about the challenges their family member is facing, and on how to structure family life to be as supportive as possible to all members, not just the patient. 

When he’s not working with patients, Dr. Marsh relaxes by fishing, playing soccer, and spending time with his triplet daughters. He’s a firm believer in finding a healthy work/life balance and helps his patients find their own balanced path.

I received my Master's of Science in Nursing in August of 2017 from Mississippi University for Women. I rejoined our Sunshine family as a Nurse Practitioner in September of 2017 at the Yazoo location. I have four years of experience as a Registered Nurse and for three of those years I worked as an RN at the Yazoo location. I am happy to be back with the Sunshine family and very excited to be serving the Pediatric community of Yazoo City.

At Hubbard Pediatric Group, LLC, pediatrician Holly Hubbard, MD provides a full range of care for children of all ages. Dr. Al-Harastani provided medical care to a diverse group of patients throughout Michigan. He practiced at McLaren Lapeer Region and Great Lakes Urgent Care Group in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Dr. Al-Harastani also worked at McLaren Lapeer Region Community Medical Center for more than 10 years.

Dr Vig has been practicing Pediatrics in the Canton and surrounding communities for the last 25 years and is fully committed to the betterment of the health of the local Pediatric population. She has overseen the installation and development of all Pediatric services, not only in her various Sunshine Children's Clinics but also at the local Merit Health Hospital Systems. She serves the community in many ways, including sponsoring the Boys & Girls Clubs; Board of Trustees at the Madison Merit River Oaks Hospital and conducting Health Education seminars at local schools.

Tarak Patel, MD, is a caring and compassionate pediatric pulmonologist and a vital part of the team at Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center. He’s deeply touched to have served so many families in the Alamo Heights, Shavano Park, and Lockhill-Selma areas of San Antonio, Texas, area.

Dr. Patel has deep roots in Texas. He began his studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning his degree in biology. He then studied medicine at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock. 

He finished his clinical training in El Paso, where he enjoyed expanding his Spanish language skills and narrowed his area of focus to pediatric lung disease, and asthma in particular. He went on to complete his training in pediatric medicine at the University of Texas at Houston. His dedication to continuing education is exemplified through a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, also in Houston.  

Throughout his studies, Dr. Patel found a great deal of fulfillment in working with various charitable organizations and in volunteer roles in medical clinics. He also continues to pursue ongoing education through lectures in a wide range of pediatric conditions. That breadth of knowledge has informed and shaped his patient care in countless ways. 

Dr. Patel treats each patient as though they were one of his own children. The families that entrust him with their medical needs appreciate that personable approach and are comforted that their children are in the best of hands.

Dr. Kaamilah Barnett is an Atlanta native. After completing her undergraduate studies in Kentucky, she earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She subsequently returned to Atlanta and completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Barnett is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is particularly interested in breastfeeding and adolescent medicine. She believes in building strong relationships with families and providing comprehensive care tailored to each child's unique needs.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys volunteering in her community, dancing, and hiking with her family and dog, Ori. Dr. Barnett welcomes any family seeking high-quality, compassionate pediatric care to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics.

Born with a life threatening condition, Dr. Centers experienced the challenges of the current healthcare system from an early age.
