Dr. Patel has deep roots in Texas. He began his studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning his degree in biology. He then studied medicine at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock.
He finished his clinical training in El Paso, where he enjoyed expanding his Spanish language skills and narrowed his area of focus to pediatric lung disease, and asthma in particular. He went on to complete his training in pediatric medicine at the University of Texas at Houston. His dedication to continuing education is exemplified through a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, also in Houston.
Throughout his studies, Dr. Patel found a great deal of fulfillment in working with various charitable organizations and in volunteer roles in medical clinics. Claire Wilkiemeyer, MD, brings more than a decade of experience in pediatrics to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County.
Dr. Wilkiemeyer grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and began her professional education in Virginia, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Jose Antonio Palomares, MD, is a dedicated pediatric pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician practicing at the Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center offices in Shavano Park, and New Braunfels, Texas. Originally from Los Angeles, he moved to San Antonio for residency. Two of his four children were born in Texas, and he now proudly calls San Antonio home.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from UCLA in 2013, contributing to published research on the neurologic effects of obstructive sleep apnea. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2019 and later returned to Los Angeles for a fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, becoming the first AIRE fellow to train in both pulmonology and sleep medicine.
Dr. Palomares has a strong interest in home mechanical ventilation and has researched how medical and social factors affect outcomes in these complex patients. He is a native Spanish speaker and is passionate about providing advanced care while empowering families through education and communication.

In 2006, Dr. Crowe graduated from Des Moines University (DMU) in Des Moines, Iowa, with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Kansas (KU) in Kansas City, where she was chief resident in her final year.

Leslie Mosteller, PA-C, recently moved to Atlanta from the DC area, where she worked in pediatrics over the last seven years, both in the emergency department at Children’s National and in pediatric primary care. She became certified as a lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2021 to better support her breastfeeding families, and is passionate about supporting families in their feeding journeys.
She graduated from the PA program at George Washington University in 2016, earning a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to her training as a PA-C, Leslie worked in health informatics and public health in Charleston, SC. She holds a Masters in Health Communication from the University of Sydney, where she studied as a Global Ambassadorial Scholar with Rotary International in 2010-2011. She is passionate about global public health and has worked on projects in Australasia, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, and Washington, DC. She has an undergraduate degree in English and Pre-medicine from Davidson College in NC and loves to share her love for reading with her patients.

Dr. Kelly Meier, DO, FAAP, is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Pediatric Associates of Southwest Missouri. Dr. Meier delivers outstanding care to children of all ages and families in and around Joplin, Missouri.
Dr. Meier grew up in nearby Kansas and has lived in the four states area all her life. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and psychology from the University of Kansas (KU) in Kansas City.
She then attended Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
