Leslie Mosteller, PA-C, recently moved to Atlanta from the DC area, where she worked in pediatrics over the last seven years, both in the emergency department at Children’s National and in pediatric primary care. She became certified as a lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2021 to better support her breastfeeding families, and is passionate about supporting families in their feeding journeys.

She graduated from the PA program at George Washington University in 2016, earning a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to her training as a PA-C, Leslie worked in health informatics and public health in Charleston, SC. She holds a Masters in Health Communication from the University of Sydney, where she studied as a Global Ambassadorial Scholar with Rotary International in 2010-2011. She is passionate about global public health and has worked on projects in Australasia, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, and Washington, DC. She has an undergraduate degree in English and Pre-medicine from Davidson College in NC and loves to share her love for reading with her patients.

She lives with her husband and two young daughters in the Atlanta area and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, painting, gardening, and exploring local parks and museums. She is thrilled to be joining Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics.

Dr. Teresa Crowe, DO, FACOP, FAAP, is a Board-Certified Pediatrician at Pediatric Associates of Southwest Missouri. Dr. Crowe provides high-quality care to children of all ages and families in and around Joplin, Missouri.

In 2006, Dr. Crowe graduated from Des Moines University (DMU) in Des Moines, Iowa, with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Kansas (KU) in Kansas City, where she was chief resident in her final year.

She practiced in Topeka, Kansas, for about eight years, where she worked at Pediatric Associates of Topeka before moving to Joplin, Missouri. She has worked here at Pediatric Associates for over six years and loves helping the children of the four-state area.

Dr. Crowe is a dedicated cat mom including her Persian-munchkin kitty, Luna, and her other three fur babies, Cleo, Mabel, and Artemis. She also loves getting to spoil her two nieces and one nephew. Kenneth Tilghman, MD, is a highly respected pediatrician at Chesterfield Pediatrics in Midlothian, Virginia, who has been serving families for more than 25 years. Dr. Sanny Chan of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Medical group in Santa Monica, CA is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and Pediatrics as well. Dr. Chan’s goal is to provide personalized care for his patients, both children and adults, with an emphasis on sharing the knowledge needed to manage complex medical conditions. Being diagnosed with severe food allergies and/or immune deficiencies can be very stressful for patients and their families and Dr. Chan strives to improve their quality of life by helping families manage and cope with these conditions.

Dr. Chan grew up in Southern California but had the fortune to train and work nationally.  He received his Ph.D. in Cell and Neurobiology from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine where he worked to solve the molecular pathway of how we see. He finished his M.D. at UC, Davis and completed his pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  He finished his subspecialty training in Allergy and Immunology under the Chairmanship of Dr. William Shearer and Dr. Jordan Orange at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.  He stayed on for a post-doctoral year with Dr. Orange to define the basis of why mutations at different locations of the same gene can cause differences in the specific immune deficiency disease called Griscelli Syndrome.

In 2014, Dr. Chan joined the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology faculty as Assistant Professor at National Jewish Health. He was also Assistant Professor in the department of Biomedical Research working on understanding how the immune system causes allergic reactions to pets and foods, as well as teaching residents and fellows how to care for patients.  Over the years, he has published numerous scientific articles in the basic sciences and in the clinical management of immune deficiency and allergic diseases.

I'm an experienced Board Certified Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care with a Master's in Nursing from University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have over 20 years experience in emergency pediatric care. I'm passionate about caring for children and excited to provide in-home services to families in North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and surrounding areas. Originally from Minnesota, I've called Arizona home for 28 years. I'm a mother of 8 and a grandmother of 4 grandchildren who I adore! Maria Moro, MD, FAAP, at Palm Leaf Pediatrics in Miami specializes in pediatric medicine, with a focus on treating infectious disease. Dr. Meier grew up in nearby Kansas and has lived in the four states area all her life. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and psychology from the University of Kansas (KU) in Kansas City.

She then attended Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. 

In 2008, she completed her training at the University of Kansas Wichita and became Board-Certified in Pediatrics that fall. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Upon graduation, she joined Pediatric Associates of Southwest Missouri, where she has enjoyed practicing ever since.

James Atkins, MD, FAAP, is a Board-Certified Pediatrician at SEARK Children's Clinic. The pediatric clinic serves as an outstanding health resource and proudly cares for families in and around Monticello, Arkansas. 

Under the leadership of Dr. Atkins, SEARK Children's Clinic delivers highly personalized, compassionate care and is the only clinic in Monticello focused solely on children’s health.

Dr. Atkins is a native of Hamburg. He is a graduate of Hamburg High School, Centenary College of Louisiana, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. He completed his pediatric residency at UAMS/Arkansas Children’s Hospital. 

Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. Atkins and his wife, Natalie, a Monticello native, moved to Monticello. He has been serving the children of southeast Arkansas since 2016, and he is excited to continue doing so at SEARK Children’s Clinic. 

Dr. Atkins has two boys, Cortez and Will. He enjoys hunting, fishing, running, biking, and watching the Razorbacks in his free time.

Gyula Soos, MD, FAAP, brings an exceptional level of skill and training to his practice at Dr. Soos Pediatrics in Dublin, Georgia. He is incredibly proud of the reputation the practice has earned over the years and continues to build and enhance all aspects of Dr. Soos Pediatrics. 

Dr. Soos is originally from Hungary and began his medical studies there at Semmelweis Medical School in Budapest. He then completed his compulsory military service in the role of general practitioner before emigrating to the United States. 

Once in the US, Dr. Soos studied at Clemson University in South Carolina and the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He completed his pediatric residency at the Medical Center of Georgia in Macon. 

His passion for pediatric medicine inspired Dr. Soos to found Dr. Soos Pediatrics in 2007, after seven years of providing pediatric care through an existing practice. He and his family have developed deep roots in the Dublin area, and love all that central Georgia has to offer.

Jose Antonio Palomares, MD, is a dedicated pediatric pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician practicing at the Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center offices in Shevano Park, Lockhill-Selma, and New Braunfels, Texas. Originally from Los Angeles, he moved to San Antonio for residency. Two of his four children were born in Texas, and he now proudly calls San Antonio home.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from UCLA in 2013, contributing to published research on the neurologic effects of obstructive sleep apnea. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2019 and later returned to Los Angeles for a fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, becoming the first AIRE fellow to train in both pulmonology and sleep medicine.

Dr. Palomares has a strong interest in home mechanical ventilation and has researched how medical and social factors affect outcomes in these complex patients.
