He finished his M.D. at UC, Davis and completed his pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  He finished his subspecialty training in Allergy and Immunology under the Chairmanship of Dr. William Shearer and Dr. Jordan Orange at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.  He stayed on for a post-doctoral year with Dr. Orange to define the basis of why mutations at different locations of the same gene can cause differences in the specific immune deficiency disease called Griscelli Syndrome.

In 2014, Dr. Chan joined the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology faculty as Assistant Professor at National Jewish Health. He was also Assistant Professor in the department of Biomedical Research working on understanding how the immune system causes allergic reactions to pets and foods, as well as teaching residents and fellows how to care for patients.  Over the years, he has published numerous scientific articles in the basic sciences and in the clinical management of immune deficiency and allergic diseases.

Dr. Tara Rajiyah is an experienced adult and pediatric endocrinologist at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, who sees patients at the West Orange and Belleville offices. 

Dr. Rajiyah earned her medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Dublin and completed internal medicine and pediatrics residencies at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. James Atkins, MD, FAAP, is a Board-Certified Pediatrician at SEARK Children's Clinic. The pediatric clinic serves as an outstanding health resource and proudly cares for families in and around Monticello, Arkansas.

Dr. Atkins is a native of Hamburg. He is a graduate of Hamburg High School, Centenary College of Louisiana, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. He completed his pediatric residency at UAMS/Arkansas Children’s Hospital. 

Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. Atkins and his wife, Natalie, a Monticello native, moved to Monticello. He has been serving the children of southeast Arkansas since 2016, and he is excited to continue doing so at SEARK Children’s Clinic.

Gyula Soos, MD, FAAP, brings an exceptional level of skill and training to his practice at Dr. Soos Pediatrics in Dublin, Georgia. He is incredibly proud of the reputation the practice has earned over the years and continues to build and enhance all aspects of Dr. Soos Pediatrics. 

Dr. Soos is originally from Hungary and began his medical studies there at Semmelweis Medical School in Budapest. He then completed his compulsory military service in the role of general practitioner before emigrating to the United States. 

Once in the US, Dr. Soos studied at Clemson University in South Carolina and the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He completed his pediatric residency at the Medical Center of Georgia in Macon. 

His passion for pediatric medicine inspired Dr. Soos to found Dr. Soos Pediatrics in 2007, after seven years of providing pediatric care through an existing practice. He and his family have developed deep roots in the Dublin area, and love all that central Georgia has to offer.

Through his years in practice, Dr. Soos has had the honor of watching many of the children in his care grow and develop into thriving young people. He is excited for a future where patients eventually bring their children to the practice.

Dr. Chowdhury completed her pediatric residency and was appointed chief resident at North Shore University Hospital | Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan, New York. Then she finished a three-year fellowship program in pediatric cardiology at the North Shore University | Northwell Health® in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Chowdhury is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and Adults with Congenital Heart Disease.

Chad Olsen, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of Millennium Pediatrics in Naperville, Illinois. He is committed to a patient-centered approach, working with his patients and their caregivers to address children’s needs and is known for thoroughly explaining health conditions and concerns. Dr. Olsen has cared for newborn babies through age 22 at the practice since 2003. 

 

Dr. Olsen earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Illinois. Upon graduation, Dr. Olsen completed his medical residency at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, a facility affiliated with Ohio State University.

Costas Frousios, MD, is an experienced pediatrician at Astoria Pediatric PC in Astoria, New York. He has a deep connection to Astoria, with personal, familial, and professional relationships in the community. Dr. Frousios was raised in Astoria and returned in 1996 to serve his neighborhood as a pediatrician.
