Eric is a Hot Springs native. He attended Lakeside High School and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in biology. He completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he decided to pursue a career in Pediatrics. Dr. Henley completed his internship and residency at UAMS / Arkansas Children’s Hospital and subsequently served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Attending at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Henley has joyfully served his beloved hometown for over six years and is honored to share in the excitement of this new adventure. He lives with his wife, Paige, son and daughter. Manish Shah, MD, is double board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and has been caring for families in Wesley Chapel, Florida, from newborns to geriatrics, for nearly 15 years. As the founder of Wesley Chapel Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Shah values the importance of preventive care and takes an integrative and holistic approach to treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes. Dr. Walls undertook her residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital from 2010-2013. Cristina R. I received my Master's of Science in Nursing in August of 2017 from Mississippi University for Women. I rejoined our Sunshine family as a Nurse Practitioner in September of 2017 at the Yazoo location. I have four years of experience as a Registered Nurse and for three of those years I worked as an RN at the Yazoo location. I am happy to be back with the Sunshine family and very excited to be serving the Pediatric community of Yazoo City.

Ahmad Kayass, MD, is board-certified in pediatrics and sleep medicine. He is the founder of Trust Tots N Teens Pediatrics, providing care to patients in Plano, Mesquite, and Forney, Texas.

Dr. Kayass has been practicing medicine for nearly 20 years. He completed his residency at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then moved to Dallas to join UT Southwestern and Dallas Children’s Medical Center, completing a fellowship in sleep medicine. 

As a part of a large family of 11 siblings, Dr. Kayass always had a passion for children and being involved in their healthcare and well-being. After many years in successful private practice, Dr. Kayass established Tots N Teens Pediatrics. 

​​Along with the long-term care of children’s well-being from birth to adolescence, Dr. Kayass is highly experienced in inpatient and outpatient care management. He is skilled with urgent care procedures and caring for critically ill children. 

His interests include but are not limited to ADHD management, obesity and weight management, and sleep medicine.

In his time off, he enjoys playing PlayStation games with his son and coming in first place at FIFA. They also enjoy attending many different sporting events, especially when the Dallas Cowboys are playing. 

Dr. Kayass has trained in karate since a very young age and earned his black belt. He also enjoys traveling abroad, reading, and playing soccer when the weather is nice. 

Dr. Kayass is also heavily involved in his community by volunteering and hosting events to try and make a difference locally and globally. He served and is still serving as a board member of a Medical Relief non-profit organization.

Dr. Al-Harastani attended medical school at Damascus University–Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He later completed his residency through the graduate medical program of Seton Hall University at St Joseph's Children's Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey.

Dr. Al-Harastani provided medical care to a diverse group of patients throughout Michigan. He practiced at McLaren Lapeer Region and Great Lakes Urgent Care Group in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Dr. Al-Harastani also worked at McLaren Lapeer Region Community Medical Center for more than 10 years.

During each stage of his career, Dr. Al-Harastani retained his passion for family and community medicine. He remained committed to helping children thrive and supporting growing families. To further this goal, Dr. Al-Harastani established the Lapeer Pediatrics practice in 2007 and added the Grand Blanc/Flint location in 2024 . He also serves as an Assistant Professor and enjoys teaching medical students from Michigan State University, and physician assistants from University of Detroit Mercy.

Claire Wilkiemeyer, MD, brings more than a decade of experience in pediatrics to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County. 

Dr. Wilkiemeyer grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and began her professional education in Virginia, where she earned her undergraduate degree. After obtaining her diploma, Dr. Wilkiemeyer moved to New Orleans and enrolled at the Tulane University School of Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Wilkiemeyer completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. 

Dr. Wilkiemeyer is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to diagnosing and treating common pediatric conditions, she specializes in parent education and helping her young patients make healthy choices. 

In her spare time, you can find Dr. Wilkiemeyer spending time with her family on the Beltline and in Piedmont Park. She also enjoys gardening, running, and supporting local sports teams. Arlene Harrington, MD, is a pediatrician practicing at Chesterfield Pediatrics in Midlothian, Virginia. Her mission is to provide exceptional care to her patients and their families. 

Dr. Harrington earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1992. She then completed her medical degree at St. George University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, in 1996. She served her residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, and has been in practice in Richmond since 1999. Her specialties include treating children with asthma and allergies, and behavioral issues. She also enjoys performing office procedures.

Dr. Harrington is a mother of four children, including a set of twins. In her spare time outside the office, she enjoys skiing, sailing, swimming, fishing, and traveling with her family.

Robert C. Platner, MD, brings more than 20 years of experience in pediatric medicine to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County. 

Dr. Platner was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began his professional pursuits at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his undergraduate degree. The following year, Dr. Platner enrolled at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in pediatrics at Emory University in Atlanta. 

Dr. Platner is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and allergies, as well as attention-deficit disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD). When he isn’t working with patients or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Platner serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Emory School of Medicine.
