I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I began my journey to psychiatry as a registered nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2006. I spent 14 years gaining clinical experience working with adolescent and adult inpatients and in emergency departments and correctional facilities. After helping people at the bedside and working with multidisciplinary teams treating various psychiatric disorders, I realized this was a passion for myself and thus decided to advance my career as a PMHNP-BC. I am committed to supplying personalized and comprehensive care. My practice follows evidence-based guidelines and uses clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. Dr. Gonchigar earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India, and then completed her residency in psychiatry at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She went on to a fellowship in patient psychiatry at Harvard University’s Faulkner Hospital, and completed another fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Boston University Medical Center, both in Boston, Massachusetts. She’s board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Pillai has several years of experience in geriatric psychiatry from her time at the SUNY Downstate Center for Alzheimer's Excellence. Dr. Ksenia Pillai has also served as a faculty member at the Grossman School of Medicine, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, and SUNY Downstate Medical School, teaching and mentoring the next generation of psychiatrists.
Brent R. Coyle, M.D. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with the additional distinction of "Distinguished Fellow," with over 36 years of experience in psychiatry in various settings, including inpatient, academic, and outpatient. Dr. Coyle received his M.D. from The University of Minnesota, Mpls. campus, and he completed his Psychiatric Residency at Wilford Hall, USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. His clinical passion is Patient-Centered Care and working in collaboration with Clients to assist them with their mental health and well-being.
Dr. Coyle treats various psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, substance and mood disorders. He utilizes non-pharmacological treatment of supportive listening and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with evidence-based pharmacological management. His ultimate goal is for Clients to be heard and healed through counseling, education, and medication.
Adam is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychological trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and addiction issues. He has more than 25 years of experience in mental health, as a psychotherapist with a Cognitive Behavioral approach and as a nurse practitioner. He has helped people from all walks of life, all sorts of life experiences, from the coasts of Washington State to hills of Tennessee and Virginia; urban and rural.
He believes our pasts do not dictate our futures; through a combination of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, we are all capable of change and creating a better life for ourselves and our world. Although prescriptions for benzodiazepines, stimulants, and opioid-based medications will not be utilized, other safer and effective alternatives can be explored as part of a treatment regimen to optimize overall functioning in all aspects of life.
