Previously, Dr. Sajid was the Medical Director of Psychiatry Clinics and the Director of Child Community Services at University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He also served as the Training Director for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship program at the University of Florida. He served as President of the North-Central Florida Regional Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Sajid has been practicing Psychiatry in Kentucky since April 2008. Natashia Little, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Nunn Psychiatric Care in Hodgenville, Kentucky. Specializing in treating patients ages five and older, Ms. Little brings a passion for patient care to each person she sees.
Ms. Little began her career in 2008, graduating with her associate degree in nursing from Southeast Community & Technical College in Cumberland, Kentucky. From there, she worked full-time at a local hospital. Through this experience, treating many patients bedside, Ms. Little realized how much mental health was undertreated – if it was treated at all.
With this realization, Ms. Little returned to school to attain her bachelor’s in nursing from Chamberlain University in Irwindale, California. She carried her passion for caring for others throughout her education, ultimately earning her first master’s degree in advanced practice nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Throughout her career, Ms. Little found herself overwhelmed with the number of people who had real, treatable mental health conditions but would not seek help due to the stigma surrounding mental illness. She committed herself to be part of the change and helping people find the help they need. She completed board qualifications to become a licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2021.
As a proud member of the East Kentucky community, Ms. Little looks forward to serving the incredible people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Amy Nunn, PMHNP-BC, is a mental health nurse practitioner at Nunn Psychiatric Care in Hodgenville, Kentucky. Mrs. Nunn specializes in the care of patients 12 and older, providing exceptional evaluations and treatments for all psychiatric disorders.
After graduating with a Bachelor's of Health Science from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky, Mrs. Nunn realized her passion was patient care. To achieve that goal, she received a Bachelor's of Nursing from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
She immediately applied and was accepted to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she graduated with a master's in Geriatric Care. Then in 2017, she received her Master's of Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Mrs. Nunn has worked in the healthcare field since 2005 and has been a nurse practitioner, including experience as an adult-geriatric nurse practitioner, since 2013. She realized her dream in 2019 when she opened her own practice in her hometown of Hodgenville.
Trained at UCLA, Dr. Thomas is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in whole-person care that supports patients in achieving optimal mental health.
