William is a Licensed Professional Counselor -Associate, he brings several years of knowledge and experience to the HHS team. He has worked for almost a decade providing mental health services for adolescents and adults. He holds a Bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, in psychology, with concentration in clinical counseling. He also has a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Albertus Magnus College. Presently, he is a doctoral candidate for Forensic Psychology at Walden University.
William provides group, couples, family, and individual therapy to children, teens, and adults at HHS. William’s focus is helping and transforming clients who have anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, SUD, and addiction based disorders. He is passionate about helping and working with clients within the LGBTQ+ community.
Apart from his clinical experience, William had done research work on ADHD, psycho-somatic disorders and eating disorders. He has led several research teams at the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS), while at Fielding University. William is adept at helping clients dealing with several kinds of mental health challenges, including mood, behavioral, and personality issues, as well as substance abuse. Iyantta Howell, M.D. is a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist with over 17 years’ experience working in a variety of clinical environments, including inpatient and outpatient settings, prisons, residential treatment facilities, and partial hospital programs. Neil Altman, PhD, is a seasoned psychoanalytic psychotherapist at Harlem Family Services, located in the East Harlem community of Manhattan in New York City.
