Ivan Mikolaenko, MD, is a neurologist who completed medical school in Ukraine. He was a post-doctoral Fellow in Neurology at John’s Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He finished his neurology residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Following that, he completed a Neuro Critical Care Fellowship, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.

Thinking about my experience with children in Argentina where I went to medical school while working for a church as a tutor for poor children. As a physician, I believe in honesty with my patients, so that they can make an informed decision.
