Dr. Angert is an MD, PhD-trained physician with extensive telehealth, clinical-care and academic research experience. Peter Pham, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Black Onyx, providing complete psychiatric care to people in Orange and South San Francisco, California. 

Peter began his professional pursuits at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, California, earning his graduate degree in psychiatry. He excelled in the program, receiving extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of various behavioral disorders, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression.

In 2021, Peter joined the Black Onyx team. He speaks English and Vietnamese fluently and treats people of all ages and backgrounds, but he has a particular interest in working with teens and young adults.

Wendi Sellers, MSN, PMHNP-BC will be joining our team! She is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Anita Red, MD in Pasadena, CA, who is licensed to treat individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood to end of life.

Wendi received her Master’s in nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health from Western University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA.

After graduating from UCLA, Wendi began working for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, helping the homeless population manage a variety of mental health concerns.

During that time, she co-founded an innovative workforce reintegration program to help women with a mental health diagnosis re-enter the workforce.

Wendi has years of experience taking care of individuals in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her approach is to provide a space where her patients feel comfortable opening up, with the knowledge that they will be heard and never judged. She believes in educating her patients about all their options and helping them to find the one that works for them. Counseling and medication management are a collaboration. Mustafa Rehmani, DO, is an Adult, Adolescent, and Child Psychiatrist in private practice, providing excellent mental health services. 

Dr. Rehmani sees patients ages 4 to 64 years from the Anita Red, MD, office in Pasadena, California. Telehealth treatment can also be made available to patients in New York.

After completing biological sciences and economics undergraduate studies at The University of Rochester in New York, Dr. Rehmani earned a post-bach in religious studies and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT) in Old Westbury. 

He underwent a year of residency training in family medicine before pursuing his passion in psychiatry. He completed a residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he trained in the biopsychosocial model.

Dr. Rehmani came to Los Angeles to complete his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at LAC/USC Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow during his final year. He gained experience at some of the most prestigious hospitals, including the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He is currently an assistant clinical professor at USC's Keck School of Medicine.

Mohamed Yaser Elatrozy, MD, is a caring adult and child psychiatrist with over a decade of experience and a double board-certification, serving patients at Ocean View Neuropsychiatry in Orange county, California

Dr. Elatrozy earned his medical degree from the University of Alexandria’s Faculty of Medicine in Alexandria Egypt, where he also completed an internship. He relocated to the United States to complete his residency in adult psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Elatrozy went on further to complete a subspecialty fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is currently certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Elatrozy’s skills as a clinical practitioner are bolstered by the time he’s spent working in other areas of psychiatry. Ashraf Elmashat, MD, is a compassionate clinician, a certified neuropsychiatrist, and a distinguished brain scientist. He currently sees patients at Ocean View Neuropsychiatry in Orange county, California.

Dr. Elmashat completed his residency in adult psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Southern California. He is currently certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Immediately after completing his training, Dr. Elmashat was recruited to serve as a faculty member at the University of California San Diego’s School of Medicine, where he has been an associate professor in the psychiatry department for over 15 years. During his time at UCSD, he’s served as the director of the La Jolla multi-specialty programs, founded and directed the telepsychiatry program and executive mental health program, and regularly teaches medical students and residents.

Dr. Elmashat has always maintained a passionate interest in innovative and non-invasive treatments. Hadi Estakhri, MD — or Dr. E as his patients know him — is a double board-certified, Harvard-trained psychiatrist practicing at Allied Psychiatry and Mental Health in Newport Beach, California.

With more than two decades of professional experience, Dr. E has vast proficiency in the mental health field. At Allied Psychiatry in Newport Beach, California, his expertise is in treating a wide range of psychiatric and addictive disorders in both adult and adolescents.

Dr. E completed his medical education at the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and his first residency in psychiatry at Tehran Institute of Psychiatry. With his extensive experience at VA Boston hospitals, he became an expert in treating PTSD. Furthermore, he received numerous academic awards throughout his residency training.
