I received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1997 and a master’s degree in family psychiatric mental health nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2010. I have worked in every area and level of care in psychiatry for over 20 years. My practice is evidence-based built on the foundation of my education which focused on how to assess research in order to understand and effectively utilize it in practice. I work collaboratively and want to provide as much education so you are a partner in your child’s psychiatric care.
I am an advanced practice nurse with over fifteen years experience in internal medicine, behavioral health, emergency medicine, and substance use treatment. I have worked in a variety of settings including longterm care, in hospitals, and in clinics.
