During residency, Dr. Ramachandran became nationally recognized as a three-time “Rising Derm Star.” He also participated in multiple dermatology clinical trials, published more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers, and contributed to national dermatology committees.

He concluded residency by receiving the Irwin M. Freedberg, M.D. Award, recognizing the resident who contributed the most to advancing dermatology within the broader “House of Medicine.”

Dr. Ramachandran provides full-spectrum dermatologic care for adults and children, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

He serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University, where he:

• Teaches dermatology residents
• Conducts hospital consultations
• Participates in dermatology education and clinical training

He also provides inpatient consultations at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, helping manage complex dermatologic conditions in hospitalized patients.

This ongoing academic involvement allows him to stay closely connected with the latest dermatology research, treatments, and clinical innovations.
