I went into medicine in order to become an obstetrician and gynecologist. I fell in love with the obstetrical part of women’s care because of the involvement in the miracle of birth. I feel priviliged to be involved in some of the most intimate and emotional experiences in our female patients’ lives. Kimberly A. Huffman, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN who provides high-quality treatments and compassionate care to her patients at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta, located in Marietta and Woodstock, Georgia.

Dr. Huffman graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, and completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr. Tackitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He relocated to Denver, Colorado, to complete an internship in internal medicine, a second internship in obstetrics and gynecology, and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, all at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Dr. Tackitt is currently a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and enjoys membership in the Missouri State Medical Association, the St. Louis Gynecological Society, and the American Urogynecologic Society. In his practice, Dr. Tackitt specializes in pelvic floor reconstruction, the treatment of urinary incontinence, and advanced minimally invasive laparoscopy. He maintains a subspecialty interest in urogynecology and teaches pelvic floor reconstruction surgical procedures.

Natalie R. Needham, MD, is a highly skilled OB/GYN who enjoys providing compassionate care to women in every stage of life. She’s currently on the team at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta and treats patients at their offices in Marietta and Woodstock, Georgia.

Dr. Needham is a proud Louisiana native who graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, and completed her OB/GYN residency at Mercy Hospital in Chicago. During her residency, she served as the chief resident, was awarded the Academic Achievement Award, the Resident Achievement in Laparoscopy Award, and earned the title “Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology-Robotics and Laparoscopy.”  

Dr. Needham joins the OB-GYN Associates of Marietta team after seven years in Alabama, where she worked in private practice in Montgomery and taught as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. Olga Hawkins, DO grew up in Atlanta, GA and is excited to return home to join OB-GYN Associates of Marietta.

Dr. Hawkins graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia in Athens. She earned her Master of Science in Preclinical Sciences degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. She then completed her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee. Dr. Hawkins moved to Orlando, Florida to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Central Florida. While in residency, Dr. Hawkins servedas the academic chief resident, was awarded the AAGL Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and was recognized as a CREOG Scholar for demonstrating excellence in medical knowledge.

Dr. Hawkins is dedicated to providing compassionate patient-centered care to all her patients. She has developed a passion for minimally invasive/robotic gynecologic surgery and obtained her certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and Da Vinci Robotic Surgery. She looks forward to partnering with the women of Georgia to provide excellent care through all stages of life.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Hawkins enjoys spending time with her family and her husband, Zach. She likes being outdoors, reading, trying out new restaurants, and traveling the world.

Kevin W. Windom, MD, FACOG, FPMRS is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever as the President of OB-GYN Associates.
As an OBGYN/Urogynecologist located in Marietta, GA & Woodstock, GA, Dr. Windom has been at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta since 1998. He has over 26 years of experience as a physician and is a national public speaker, published author, local and national surgical preceptor, and a research and development consultant for a number of medical and surgical companies. Looking to the future, Dr. Windom maintains special interests in female pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, robotic pelvic surgery, and urinary incontinence management and surgery, uterine fibroids, and endometriosis. 

Dr. Windom graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry as a member of the biological honor society, Beta Beta Beta, and the pre-med honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta. Following this, Dr. Windom earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, completed an internship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, and completed a second internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Windom is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. To further his professional development, Dr. Windom holds membership in the American Urogynecological Society, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the State of Georgia OB-GYN Society and the Cobb County Medical Society. Devout to his faith, Dr. Windom is a member of the Peachtree Presbyterian Church and the Christians Medical/Dental Missionary.

As an Atlanta native, Dr. Lilibird Pichardo has provided caring and compassionate health care to women of all ages and ethnicities in the metro Atlanta area for several years. She is particularly adept at serving the Hispanic/Latino community and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Pichardo completed her undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta. She later attended medical school at the Morehouse School of Medicine, also in Atlanta. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and had the distinct honor of serving as administrative chief resident. Afterward, she happily returned home to Georgia to continue her practice.

Dr. Pichardo's interests include high-risk obstetrics, medical management of common gynecologic issues, contraception, and family planning. With his 20-plus years of obstetrics and gynecology experience, Dr. Eric Brown is a highly respected OB/GYN at Gyn-Care in Atlantic Station, Atlanta. Trent Rice, MD, is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist who joined the team at The Women's Center, PC, located in Stockbridge and Conyers, Georgia, in 2014. A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Dr. Rice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of female pelvic floor disorders, such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary/fecal incontinence, and mesh complications. He offers a wide array of conservative and surgical treatment options to his patients and is experienced both in traditional and minimally invasive surgical repairs.

Dr. Rice grew up in Winder, Georgia. He attended college at the University of Georgia, where he earned a degree in biochemistry and microbiology. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia and subsequently moved to New York City for his general OB/GYN residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. Most recently, he attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he completed his fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (urogynecology). His fellowship training was unique in that it was a combined urogynecology and female urology program, one of the few in the nation. Dr. Rice is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and has had several research publications published in his field’s leading journals. 

When asked why he became a urogynecologist, he states the specialty involves very functional surgery with a large quality of life impact. Simply put, it allows him to change the lives of women who are fearful of social embarrassment from their pelvic floor disorders and give them a life back.

Dr. Rice is happy to have come full circle and made it back to the north Georgia area. Outside of practicing medicine, he has special interests in music. He was a member of a local Athens rock band for many years and continues to enjoy composing and recording music. Recently he had an original song, “Hickory Hollow,” played on Nashville radio. He currently resides in Decatur, Georgia, and regularly performs at local music venues. His wife, Sarah, is also a doctor. She works at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital as a pediatric emergency medicine physician. They have a daughter, Addison, who inspires them daily and is just plain sweet and happy.

Sharon Hodges, MD, is a compassionate, board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Hodges joins the team at The Women's Center, PC, located in Stockbridge and Conyers, Georgia, and brings over 20 years of experience in women’s health. Stephanie Gordon, MD, is the founder of The Women's Center, PC, located in Stockbridge and Conyers, Georgia. Dr. Gordon is double-board certified in general OB/GYN and urogynecology. She founded Women's Center, PC in 2003 as a gynecology and surgery practice dedicated to providing individualized care for women.

Dr. Gordon is one of the few true Atlanta-natives. She was born at Georgia Baptist Hospital while her mother finished nursing school there. She graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in genetics and molecular biology. She then worked at a private practice as an OB/GYN in Stockbridge before starting The Women's Center, PC in Conyers, Georgia. The practice quickly grew to expand to a Henry County office in Stockbridge. The practice includes five practitioners to help fulfill Dr. Gordon’s vision of comprehensive care for women.

Dr. Gordon was one of the first physicians in the nation to become board certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, also known as urogynecology, in 2013. She is a proctor to other physicians who wish to learn incontinence and pelvic prolapse procedures. She has also been voted "Top Doc" in Henry County's H Magazine multiple times.

When asked why she went into gynecology, Dr. Gordon replies, "It is a wonderful field of medicine to practice. I get to see my patients on a reoccurring basis so I really get to know them and their families. Together, we can quickly identify their concerns and make a plan – together. I always include my patients in the decision-making process. Many of my patients’ problems can be resolved or improved in a short time frame. They are happy to get better and get on with their busy lives!" 

Dr. Gordon lives in McDonough, Georgia, with her husband, David, and her three daughters, who keep her life busy. She loves to travel to warm places, read voraciously, and never improves her tennis game.
