Angela Watson, MD, will be joining our practice in January 2017. Dr. Watson graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2008.
She has been in private practice in Arlington for the past eight years. Dr. Watson is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is skilled in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, including minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures. She lives in Frisco with her husband and two children.
Laura Hutcherson (née Kenyon), MD, is from Plano and attended The University of Texas at Austin, receiving her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering with honors and a minor in American Sign Language. Dr. Hutcherson completed her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School with a distinction in research. Her clinical research involved designing and implementing a clinical trial to reduce post-operative pain after total laparoscopic hysterectomy with ice application. She is also a proud recipient of the Annelle M. Ahmed, MD Women’s Health Care Award, given to medical students exemplifying the esteemed clinician, Dr. Ahmed. Dr. Hutcherson continued her medical training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Hospital, where she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency. Throughout her educational career, she has persistently mentored fellow peers and cared for the underserved through volunteering and mission trips.
Dr. Hutcherson joined OBGYN North Dallas in September 2025 while returning to her hometown of Plano. She is drawn to obstetrics because it touches on one of the most personal and universal seasons of a woman’s life. She also has a particular interest in gynecologic surgery and surgical innovation, given her background as an engineer.
Ultimately, Dr. Hutcherson aims to be an advocate, confidante, and resource for each of her patients. She provides a wide range of services for women of all ages, including routine obstetrics/gynecologic care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spoiling her cockapoo, playing amateur pickleball, singing karaoke, and planning her next beach vacation. Dr. Hutcherson is happily married to a fellow engineer and is a new mother to a beautiful baby girl.
Dr. Lee was born in California but grew up outside of Dallas in Rockwall. She received her education and Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health at the top ranked Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then went on to complete her medical education at University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston.
She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at one of the largest and busiest OBGYN training programs in the nation- University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. She then worked in the maternal fetal medicine department as faculty at one of the top ranked medical centers- Washington University St Louis.
She joined Plano Healthcare for Women in 2016 with Gwen Webster, MD. Dr. Webster retired from private practice in June 2025 and Dr. Lee joined OBGYN North Dallas. Dr. Lee has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, routine premenopausal and menopausal gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures Dr. Lee and her husband, Dr. William Hotchkiss currently live in Plano with their 2 children and dogs. She loves spending time with her family and friends, hosting dinners/parties, reading, and going to church.
Nedra Rice, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN at Contemporary Women’s Care in Plano, Texas. Dr. Rice is passionate about women’s health issues and places significant value on patient education. She believes that health care delivery can be kind and compassionate and strives to provide an atmosphere for her patients that is both understanding and comfortable.
Prior to becoming an OB/GYN, Dr. Rice earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work and practiced as a Licensed Master’s Social Worker. She later received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and then completed her medical training with an OB/GYN residency at the Health Science Center’s University Hospital in San Antonio.
Dr. Rice is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is affiliated with several local hospitals, including Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano and Baylor Scott & White Centennial Frisco.
In her personal life, Dr. Rice enjoys traveling, snow skiing, and relaxing with a good book or movie. Dr. Rice is originally from Dallas and is thrilled to give back to her hometown community.

“My appointment was fine, but After she said, she would help me get my hormone medicine and I’ve called like four times for them to call my insurance and have not received a call back. Very disappointing. I need my hormone medicine and my migraines have come back even my neurologist said it’s due to my hormone medicine and still nothing. I’ve called the insurance company and they said they have not received any call from my gynecologist very sad that they won’t help me. I’ve left them the insurance phone number. Tell them what I need. Tell them what they need to do and still nothing so I will be looking for a new gynecologist. All my other doctors have helped me with the insurance, but apparently it’s too much for them!!!!!! How to get one star because they wouldn’t let me write their review I would give them no stars help your patience people!!!!!”
