Maureen Tart, MD, FACOG, MSCP, is a board-certified OB/GYN. Before joining the practice in 2011, Dr. Tart practiced in Chicago for over a decade. She served as Co-Medical Director of her group and held the role of Vice Chair of the OB/GYN department for several years.
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Tart moved to Chicago for her residency training and has since built a career dedicated to women’s health. She earned both her undergraduate degree in psychology and her medical degree from Georgetown University before completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Karen Mass, MD, FACOG, is a dedicated and experienced doctor of medicine and Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists at Women's Specialty Care SC.
From two offices in Lake Forest and Grayslake, Illinois, Dr. Mass provides personal, expert, and compassionate care to all patients. She is the founder and President of Women's Specialty Care SC, one of the premier women’s health medical practices of the north shore of Chicago since 2002.
Learning and furthering education has always been a passion for Dr. Mass. She began her medical studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Next, she pursued specialty training in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Michigan (UMich), in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Matthew King is a board-certified gynecologist. James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.
Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois.
