I've been blessed to enjoy a career spanning 40 years in nursing with 25 years in advanced practice as a clinical specialist in the adult psychiatric population in a variety of clinical settings. In-patient acute psychiatry, addiction treatment centers, outpatient psychotherapy as well as a professor of psychiatric nursing. Many of my more recent years have been spent working as a consultant for a large psychiatric practice.
