I am dual board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. I see clients from age 12 and up. People come to treatment for all sorts of reasons — anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulty functioning at work or school, family conflict, challenges in relationships, low self-esteem, or simply a desire to learn more about themselves. As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with expertise in both medication management and psychotherapy, I can help patients develop a treatment plan that meets their needs. My style is guided by warmth and flexibility, with the goals of helping patients build insight and reduce symptoms.
I create individualized treatment plans, assessing patients' goals, unique life experiences, and biological risk factors. While medication is useful in some cases, I am dedicated to helping my patients achieve lasting change through therapy as well.
As a Yale trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with a Master's Degree in Psychology, and extensive training in both psychiatry and psychology, I am able to provide holistic, comprehensive, person-centered care.
My commitment to you, is to treat not only the most overt symptoms you are experiencing, but explore all contributing factors, and root causes, to develop a deeper understanding of how to best meet your goals. From this full-scope of awareness, and insight, we will collaboratively work to create an integrative care plan that brings meaningful, sustainable, changes that improve your quality of life, and overall wellbeing.
I understand the courage of vulnerability needed to share openly about your hopes and struggles. I ensure that your trust is respected and protected, with open dialogue, collaboration, and genuine connection. I am committed to consistency in prioritizing your needs, availability and responsiveness in communication, and transparency in all aspects of care.
Drawing on the uniquely personal strengths of each individual, I collaborate with my patients to meet their healthcare goals and live their best lives.
