Dr. Johanese Sandy, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with focus on opioid addiction treatment, providing care to patient in the entire state of Maryland, Virginia and DC. He holds a certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Credentialing Board and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Furthermore, he is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians. Johanese has a total of twenty-three cumulative years in critical care, primary and psychiatric mental health care. Dr. Kuppan is Specialized in managing medical conditions for adult and geriatric population and mental health conditions for all age group startting at 6 yrs. old. She has healthcare experience over 29 yrs including the NP service for the past 7 yrs in Medical and 5 yrs in Psychiatry. The population being served at the Psych MD Practice includes adults, adolescence, and children inclusive of LGBTQ individuals. The mental health conditions to name a few are depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and mood disorders via primarily medication management and brief counseling with various psychotherapy methods during the session.

Dr. Delia E Nieves-Arvelo is a bilingual (Spanish) Board certified Adult Psychiatrist.

Dr. Nieves-Arvelo received her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, before moving to New York to complete her residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in affiliation with Weill Medical College and Cornell University. After completing her residency, Dr. Nieves-Arvelo moved to San Diego to work for Kaiser-Permanente in various settings such as outpatient, inpatient, consultation liaison, and chemical dependence/dual diagnosis programs.

She has vast experience providing psychiatric care to patients from Hispanic backgrounds whose preferred language is Spanish. Dr. Nieves-Arvelo is a compassionate and patient-driven psychiatrist who takes time and dedication for the well-being of her patients.
