Romer Mosquera, MD, is a board-certified neurologist at Neuroclinics in Miami, Florida. A native Spanish speaker, Dr. Mosquera is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and has been in practice for over two decades. With his vast knowledge in clinical neurology and interventional pain management, Dr. Mosquera implements a boutique medicine approach to care and ensures each patient gets customized treatment tailored specifically to their needs. Dr. Mosquera completed his medical degree at the Central University of Venezuela. Upon graduation, he completed several internships at health facilities in Caracas, including the Institute of Neurology and Applied Neurosciences (INNAP). After his internships in Venezuela, Dr. Mosquera continued his medical training by working at various health facilities in Colorado, Connecticut, and Florida. After completing a neurology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, he furthered his knowledge and expertise with fellowships in clinical neurophysiology and pain management.
Dr. Mosquera returned to Venezuela to work at INNAP for two years, providing neurological care for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. He served as a consultant neurologist at Campbell County Health in Gillette, Wyoming, before opening Neuroclinics in 2020. Dr. Mosquera is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed to practice in Florida, Arkansas, and Venezuela.
