My approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and compassion — I believe healing happens within a trusting, safe, and nurturing therapeutic relationship.
I work with adults, adolescents, and children facing a variety of concerns, including mood disorders/depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD. My work is trauma-informed and guided by psychodynamic principles while also being collaborative, insight-oriented, and solution-focused.
I draw from a range of modalities to meet your unique needs, always with the intention of fostering growth, resilience, and self-compassion. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can be a transformative space. Together, we’ll work toward healing, clarity, and a more grounded sense of self.
Choosing therapy is a powerful step toward caring for yourself — one rooted in courage, self-awareness, and hope. Our mental health is a cornerstone of overall well-being, and tending to it is essential for living a balanced, sustainable life. This decision is something to be proud of, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this path.

About Dr. Jaswinderjit Singh
Hi, I am Dr. Jaswinderjit Singh (Dr. Jazz). I am a holistic psychiatrist and life strategist who believes optimal mental health is more than just treating symptoms with medication. Instead, I guide my patients on the road to long-lasting overall health by getting to the root of their problems.
I combine conventional treatments with mind-body practices to restore peak mental and physical health.
My medical journey from India to New York has deeply influenced me. I graduated from medical school in India with the Highest Honors before moving to the United States and completing my psychiatry residency in New York. Experiencing Western and Eastern views on health and wellness has influenced my perspective on the intricate interplay between the mind and body in achieving and maintaining mental wellness.
My life experiences have allowed me to bring new and ancient world traditions, including Eastern cultural values, to my patient-care approach. Having a broad view of the world and humankind bolsters psychological betterment.
I believe in treating not just the symptom(s) but each individual as a whole. Every individual is multifaceted, and healing emerges when we address not just the mental but also the physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental dimensions of their being.
In addition to clinical work, I have dedicated myself to conducting free health check-up camps for South Asian families, raising awareness about general health and mental well-being. This experience has deepened my understanding of cultural nuances impacting mental health and shaped my perspective on my work.
Compassionate and effective care is my commitment to every patient I work with. I strive to build trust and genuinely enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems with creative solutions and a touch of humor.
When I began my practice, I quickly realized holistic approaches to psychiatry were lacking; therefore, I’ve worked diligently to hone the blending of my treatment modalities to provide the most effective and comprehensive care to my patients.
Whether spending time with loved ones or working with patients in my practice, I bring a positive and energetic attitude to everything I do. In my free time, I enjoy getting lost in books about stoic philosophy, Greek and Roman schools of thought, the teachings of Freud, Jung, and Beck, and books on anthropology and spiritual teachings. I love to travel and am learning to play the guitar. I am an earlier riser and incorporate meditation and exercise into my morning routine.
I’m painfully aware that I’m not a great cook, but my passion for eating hopefully makes up for any talents I lack in the kitchen!

Evan Donin is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Sunshine Mental Wellness Associates Inc. With a background that uniquely bridges business and healthcare, Evan brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to psychiatric care that emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment.
Originally beginning his professional career in the business world, Evan made a deliberate and values-driven decision to change paths at age 28, pursuing a career in mental health in order to provide meaningful, high-quality care to individuals navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. He began his clinical journey as a psychiatric registered nurse at Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Center in New York, where he gained foundational experience working with youth in acute psychiatric settings. He later advanced to a psychiatric RN role at Zucker Hillside Hospital (Northwell Health), one of the region’s leading psychiatric facilities, where he worked in high-acuity, fast-paced inpatient environments.
Evan earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health from Adelphi University, graduating in December 2021. He became nationally board certified as a PMHNP-BC in March 2022 and subsequently obtained licensure as a nurse practitioner in both New York and Florida.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Evan has worked in busy outpatient psychiatric practices and in remote treatment settings serving individuals impacted by workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, apartment fires, and sexual assault. This work deepened his commitment to trauma-informed care and reinforced the importance of treating each patient within the full context of their lived experience.
In February 2025, Evan founded Sunshine Mental Wellness Associates Inc., and since late November 2025 he has dedicated himself exclusively to private practice. He provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management services to adolescents and adults ages 12 and older. His clinical approach is grounded in quality, compassion, and respect, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming care. Evan strives to create a supportive, collaborative treatment environment where patients feel heard, validated, and empowered in their mental health journey
