Shasta Mitchell-Holston has been in nursing since 2005. Starting her career as an RN at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She has been trained as an acute care/ICU RN early in her career. As she advanced her education to pursue her BSN and MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner she worked as a traveler nurse throughout Northeast Ohio. When she earned her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Ursuline College, she began her career as a Hospitalist for Mercy Health. Shasta Mitchell-Holston relocated to the Hampton Roads area in 2018 and worked within the Bon Secours system as a Hospitalist. Ahad Jiva is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned his Master of Science in Nursing from South University in 2025. He began his career in healthcare working at West Marion Hospital in orthopedic surgery before transitioning into family practice. His clinical interests include health promotion, weight-loss management, chronic disease management, and preventative health.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Aggarwal earned her medical degree at Guwahati Medical College in India. She then went on to complete both a residency and a fellowship in advanced women’s health in the U.S. before she began practice as a family physician. Dr. Aggarwal is board-certified in family medicine.

Dr. Silvia Los earned her Medical Degree at Buenos Aires University and completed her Specialty in Family Medicine at UMass (University of Massachusetts). Soon after she was awarded the Honor degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine for her contributions on Medical Education, patient advocacy and leadership. Dr Los has more than 15 years of experience in Family Medicine and a great vision to transform Primary Care in this country based on her professional experiences in different University Clinics, Community Health Centers and Private Practices in different states in the USA and Australia. Dr Los is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine.

Jennifer Thompson is the owner and Nurse Practitioner associated with Advanced Practice. She is a graduate of George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, where she received her Masters in the Science of Nursing. Jennifer is board certified and is licensed in North Carolina and autonomously in Virginia & Florida. Jennifer pursued her career interest in Emergency Medicine and has practiced full time since 2005, affiliated with multiple hospital sites. Jennifer also has worked in the areas of Primary Care and Correctional Medicine along her journey. Jennifer founded Advanced Practice in response to the growing needs for healthcare amongst the surrounding communities. Dr. Ronaldo Calonje is a physician working at South Florida Sports Medicine and Primary Care in Coral Springs, Florida. He provides a variety of services to patients at this facility, including physical exams, and sports medicine, along with diagnosis and treatment for chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol. His sports medicine practice ranges from weekend warriors to top professionals and everyone in between.

Dr. Calonje attended Miami-Dade College, where he studied psychology. After graduating from this institution with honors, he studied microbiology and immunology at the University of Miami. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences. Dr. Calonje attended medical school at Autonomous School of Medical Sciences in Costa Rica. After returning to the United States, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

Since he began practicing sports medicine, Dr. Calonje has covered many events, including amateur boxing, professional boxing, WNBA basketball, mixed martial arts, the Chicago Marathon, Florida State University Athletics, special Olympics, F.I.U. Athletics, University of Miami Athletics, and more. He has served as Medical Director of South Florida Sports Medicine and Primary Care since 2011.

Dr. Calonje was born in Managua, Nicaragua. His father is a retired pediatrician who practiced for 20 years in Miami, Florida. His brother is an OB/GYN currently practicing at St. Alexius Medical Center in Illinois.
