In 2007, Dr. Ubom moved to the United States to join her husband and decided to go to medical school. She completed her pre-medical studies and received another bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Rita Wood, DO, is an OB/GYN at the Eighth Avenue Obstetrics and Gynecology office in the Medical District of Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Cagnes graduated from Medical School in Italy in 1981. She completed her OBGYN residency in Italy in 1985, where she practiced until 1989. Upon getting married, she relocated to the U.S. in 1989 and became a U.S. Citizen in 1994. Dr. Cagnes completed two years of Family Practice Residency in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1994. In 1997, she completed her second residency at OBGYN in Rochester, New York. In 1997, she was awarded the position of "Clinical Instructor" at the University of Vanderbilt, Nashville, Tennessee. In 1999, Dr. Cagnes moved to beautiful Cape Cod to join the private practice of Dr. Skinner. She has been in solo practice at All Cape Gynecology since 2002. In 2010, Sorgente MedSpa was created as a trademark of All Cape Gynecology.

Rania Ibrahim, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN specialist serving patients at New Beginnings OB/GYN in The Woodlands area of Shenandoah, Texas. At the practice, Dr. Ibrahim strives to listen to her patients so she can be an advocate for their health.

Dr. Ibrahim obtained her master's degree in pharmacology at Tulane University in New Orleans in 2000. In 2004, she completed medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She has over a decade of clinical experience in emergency medicine and women's healthcare, including a certification as a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Registered Nurse. Ms. Perry completed her undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University (State College, PA) and obtained her graduate degree from The SUNY Downstate Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY). She is not only the C.E.O. of our practice, but she has also worked for clinics in underserved communities and as a registered nurse at NYU Langone Medical Center. She then completed Ob/Gyn residency training and worked as an attending physician at the third hospital of Peking University. Dr. Lu then moved to Houston to pursue her postdoctoral research fellowship training, initially at the breast cancer center at Baylor College of Medicine and subsequently at the Department of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine at the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center. After this Dr. Lu decided to go back to her first love, which was direct patient care, specializing in women’s health. Dr. Lu completed Ob/Gyn residency training at the McGovern Medical School in Houston and Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York. Dr. Lu enjoys combining both her clinical expertise and in-depth academic knowledge of her specialty to provide individualized and compassionate care to women of all ages. Denise Furlong, MD is committed to offering patient-centered care for women from puberty through menopause, providing each patient with the information and guidance they need about their health at every stage of life so they can feel confident in their care. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders on site, helping to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care as quickly as possible.

After earning her bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign, Dr. Furlong completed her medical degree, internship, and residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Illinois Urogynecology, Ltd. Today, she is one of only a handful of surgeons to have achieved board certification in both obstetrics-gynecology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

Denise Furlong, MD welcomes the opportunity to work with new patients, and the practice accepts most major medical insurance plans. Both English and Spanish are spoken at her practice.
