Charles "Charlie" I. Stein, MD, FACOG, FASLS, is a highly experienced physician specializing in laser medicine, surgery, and advanced vein treatment at Vascular Vein Centers, with locations in Orlando, Waterford Lakes of East Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, The Villages, and Davenport/Haines City, Florida. Born and raised in Sanford, Florida, Dr. Stein has dedicated his career to caring for patients throughout the state, bringing more than four decades of medical expertise to his practice.

Dr. Stein holds dual credentials as both a pharmacist and a board-certified physician. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Georgia School of Pharmacy before completing his medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) and the Medical College of Georgia. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) as well as a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (FASLMS). His additional certifications include microsurgery and ultrasound.

After extensive training, Dr. Stein practiced gynecologic surgical oncology, where he treated women with complex and often life-altering conditions. During this time, he recognized that venous disease was another significant and underaddressed source of discomfort, stress, and health concerns for many patients. This insight led him to pursue advanced training in phlebology and actively participate in national vein and phlebology societies.

Dr. Liza Lizarraga is a graduate from the Universidad Latina de Panama in the Republic of Panama. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morristown Medical Center-Atlantic Health System, an affiliate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. At this institution she was trained in minimally invasive surgery and gynecologic robotic surgery.

Dr. Lizarraga also has a Masters Degree in Public Health from Columbia University in New York City and is currently involved in volunteer work with a non-for-profit organization that addresses female health and gynecologic disorders in underserved women in Haiti. She believes that women’s health is a priority and that all women should have equal access to healthcare. She is a native Spanish speaker and has recently moved to Aventura from New Jersey to continue offering her services in Florida.  Dr. Lizarraga truly enjoys working in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and sees adolescents, adult females and post-menopausal women.

Completó su formación de residencia en Ginecología y Obstetricia en el Centro Médico Morristown-Atlantic Health System, un afiliado de Sidney Kimmel Medical College en la Universidad Thomas Jefferson. En esta institución fue entrenada en cirugía mínimamente invasiva y cirugía robótica ginecológica.

 

La Dra. Lizárraga también tiene una Maestría en Salud Pública por la Universidad de Columbia en la Ciudad de Nueva York y, actualmente, está involucrada en trabajo voluntario con una organización sin fines de lucro que trata sobre la salud femenina y los trastornos ginecológicos en las mujeres marginadas de Haití. A mother of five herself, Dr. Bickman has a special interest in obstetrics and loves to deliver babies. In fact, Dr. Bickman had a C-Section, and a subsequent 4 VBAC's. Additionally, Dr. Bickman has struggled with infertility, so is able to relate to her patients on a very personal level.  She specializes in high-risk pregnancies, and strives to help women have the birth experience they desire. Dr. Bickman is a board certified OBGYN with hospital affiliations at both St. John’s Health Center and UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Bickman was born and raised in Los Angeles, attending Westlake School for Girls for high school, UC Berkeley and UCLA undergraduate and the USC school of Medicine. Dr. Bickman did her residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Joanne Sarroza, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified OBGYN at Aventura OBGYN Associates located in Miami and Hallandale Beach, Florida. Dr. Sarroza is committed to providing compassionate care and evidence-based medicine for women throughout the unique stages of their lives. 

She completed her undergraduate education at Loyola University Chicago prior to pursuing her doctorate in osteopathic medicine (DO) at the Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to receive internship training at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, followed by residency training at Midwest University. 

Dr. Sarroza is a reliable OBGYN whom patients can rely on for their gynecological and obstetrics care. She has over two decades of experience in managing women’s health needs, from performing annual exams to providing her expertise for gynecology procedures. 

She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, she holds professional memberships in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Richard Strathmann joined the team at Women’s Healthcare Physicians of Naples after practicing with the National Health Service Corps for three years in Ferguson, Missouri. He provides the full range of obstetrics and gynecology services to women in the Naples, Florida, area, including in his areas of interest: high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, contraception, menopausal symptoms, vaginal and vulvar care, and Gender Affirming Care.

Dr. Strathmann graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Arts from Saint Louis University where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine then went on to complete his internship at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. He returned to St. Louis to finish his residency training at Saint Louis University, then worked and gained three years of OB/GYN experience as a laborist in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Strathmann is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He’s an active staff member at Naples Community Hospital and North Collier Hospital.

Rashida N'gouamba, MD is is a board certified physician practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2006. She started practicing in Pasadena California since moving from New York City, where she was an assistant professor at Columbia University Medical Center. An alumni of New York University and Yale School of Medicine, she was won multiple teaching awards throughout her career and is a strong advocate for breastfeeding. Rania Ibrahim, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN specialist serving patients at New Beginnings OB/GYN in The Woodlands area of Shenandoah, Texas. At the practice, Dr. Ibrahim strives to listen to her patients so she can be an advocate for their health.

Dr. Ibrahim obtained her master's degree in pharmacology at Tulane University in New Orleans in 2000.
