Dr. Manglardi is a local graduate of Lake Howell High School and stayed close to home while attending the University of Central Florida, earning her degree in Health Sciences from the Burnett Honors College. She then traveled to St. George’s University and received a dual MD degree alongside a Master of Public Health. Following medical school, she finally made it back to Florida and completed her OB/GYN residency in Gainesville, Florida, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.

The residency was an extra special time as she was able to deliver hundreds of babies, including two of her own! Her husband, Joe, and two boys, Michael and Luca, keep her very busy when she’s not at work. As a family, they love spending time at the beach whenever they can. They love watching their boys grow up in the place they both have always called home.

With more than 40 years of experience working with women in all life stages, Carlos Cardenas, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving people in San Antonio, Texas. He completed an internship at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his residency training at Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly Hahnemann Medical College) in Philadelphia. Dr. Fagbohun completed his MD degree and was an assistant professor in Nigeria before moving to the United States on a full scholarship to pursue a PhD degree at Marquette University in Wisconsin. He completed his residency training at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Fagbohun is a multiple award-winning specialist who provides exceptional Obstetrics, Gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery care in an atmosphere of complete trust and confidence. He has won numerous awards including being named “Resident educator of the year” and “Outstanding Chief Resident” during his training. Dr. Fagbohun was voted one of America’s top Obstetricians and Gynecologist by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as a specialist in practice. Dr. Fagbohun is also a BioTE® certified provider, providing patients with excellent bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and guidance. In addition, Dr. Fagbohun serves as the supervisor of the medical weight loss program at Essence Medical Spa. 

Dr. Fagbohun was an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Michigan State College of Human Medicine. He is a former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a former Medical Director of Women’s Services, he is also a former Chief of Staff, and a former member of the Medical Executive Committee at OakBend Medical Center. Dr. Fagbohun is currently a Clinical Assistant Profesor at Sam Houston State College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Clinical Professor at Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston. He is proficient in obstetrics, comprehensive gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy. Dr. Fagbohun is trained in Aesthetic Medicine. He is an avid teacher with numerous published articles in scientific journals. Dr. Fagbohun is an active member and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He is one of the few obstetricians and gynecologists in the nation elected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Dr. Fagbohun is blessed with five wonderful adult daughters and one adult son and resides in Fort Bend County with his wife, Yolanda. They are also blessed with grandchildren. He enjoys being active in the Fort Bend community and has led medical mission trips to Africa. His interests include travel, spending time with his family, and mentoring middle, high school and college students who are interested in the medical career. He is also a venture capitalist and entrepreneur. Dr. Fagbohun is engaging, and his immediate familiarity with his patients is welcoming and comforting.

Ememobong Ubom, MD, is an experienced OBGYN with the team at the Center for Women's Health in  Sugar Land, and Richmond, Texas. Dr. Ubom was born and raised in Calabar, Nigeria, and received a bachelor’s degree in radiography from the University of Calabar. Practicing radiography, Dr. Ubom didn’t feel like she was making the kind of impact on the lives of her patients that she wanted to, so she decided to redirect her career. 

In 2007, Dr. Ubom moved to the United States to join her husband and decided to go to medical school. She completed her pre-medical studies and received another bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She then attended the historical Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she received her medical degree. She recently completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. During her training, her research work received both departmental and network-wide awards for the best research project. She also received the Society for Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident Excellence Award.
