Dr. Sangeeta Ramani, MD, FACOG is a board-certified Ob/Gyn who specializes in gynecologic surgery. After graduating with an honors degree in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Ramani earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Ramani’s philosophy is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care while empowering her patients to prioritize their health and well-being. Her special interests include robotics and laparoscopic surgery, as well as the management of fibroids and endometriosis.
Dr. Ramani is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. She has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and is passionate about medical education. Yvette Gentry, M.D. is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology practicing at East Bay Women’s Health in Oakland and Alameda, California. Women’s health is a cornerstone of a thriving community, and its importance continues to grow in today’s healthcare landscape. I chose to pursue a career in gynecology out of a deep commitment to supporting the health and well-being of women in my community.
I received my residency and fellowship training at two leading academic medical centers, where I developed a strong foundation in delivering compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. My clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of general gynecology, with a particular focus on the management of complex conditions such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain.
As a graduate of an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, I am dedicated to offering advanced medical and surgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs. I specialize in minimally invasive surgical techniques—including both laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures—which allow for shorter recovery times, less postoperative discomfort, and a quicker return to daily life.
