Dr. Ahlstrom met his wife at Utah State University, and has been happily married for over 30 years. They are the proud parents of three grown children, all USU Aggies. In his free time, Dr. Ahlstrom and his family enjoy skiing, spending time in the local mountains and traveling.

Rashida N'gouamba, MD is is a board certified physician practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2006. She started practicing in Pasadena California since moving from New York City, where she was an assistant professor at Columbia University Medical Center. An alumni of New York University and Yale School of Medicine, she was won multiple teaching awards throughout her career and is a strong advocate for breastfeeding. She completed her undergraduate education at Loyola University Chicago prior to pursuing her doctorate in osteopathic medicine (DO) at the Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Liza Lizarraga is a graduate from the Universidad Latina de Panama in the Republic of Panama. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morristown Medical Center-Atlantic Health System, an affiliate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. At this institution she was trained in minimally invasive surgery and gynecologic robotic surgery.

Dr. Lizarraga also has a Masters Degree in Public Health from Columbia University in New York City and is currently involved in volunteer work with a non-for-profit organization that addresses female health and gynecologic disorders in underserved women in Haiti. She believes that women’s health is a priority and that all women should have equal access to healthcare. She is a native Spanish speaker and has recently moved to Aventura from New Jersey to continue offering her services in Florida.  Dr. Lizarraga truly enjoys working in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and sees adolescents, adult females and post-menopausal women.

Jane Matos-Fraebel, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN practicing at A New Life OB/GYN of Broward, located in Plantation, Florida. By the time she was in fourth grade, Dr. Matos-Fraebel knew she wanted to be a doctor. She worked with her mother (also a physician) beginning at the age of 13, which eventually led to her entering medical school at Santiago University of Technology, one of the highest-ranking schools in the Dominican Republic. After graduating in 1987, Dr. Matos-Fraebel then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. Dr. Matos-Fraebel believes in combining advanced state-of-the-art technology with compassion. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she provides obstetric and gynecological services to a diverse population of women; she has a particular interest in menopause and bio-identical hormones, urinary incontinence, customized weight loss and wellness. Pattyann Hardt, MD, PA, FACOG, is an experienced gynecologist at Eighth Avenue Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Medical District of Fort Worth, Texas. She offers comprehensive, personalized women’s health care to patients of all ages. 

Dr. Hardt graduated with a master’s degree in education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
